Im struggling on where I am going to live.
So, one of my motos that I decided to live by is that you only live once. I am currently in the honours progam in psychology at my University. I decided that after I am finished University, which is fast approaching, I will need to go to teachers college. Being a teacher is a fall back career and I enjoy being with children a lot. The problem is whether to do to teachers college and commute or do something very unpredictable. You see, I decided to live at home during University. Not only did it save me a lot of money but I also remained with the people I care most about. Now I want something different. I may never have this opportunity again.
So, here are my Teachers college options:
Stay Home. Risk free and predictable
Move to Japan for a year. Vastly different culture that I would love to be apart of. However, I only speak two languages and Japanese isn’t one of them. On top of that I have no family anywhere near me.
Move to Australia. Not so different culture. I have a distant relative I have never met but Im not really that interested.
Move to Italy. Lots of family. Can speak the language and know my way around. However, Ive been there many times for a few months and it wouldn’t be that big of a stretch.
I know this is a decision I have to make on my own but your opinions would be helpful. Thanks in advance.
