Because admins hate topics that open their eyes or make them think. It’s the same thing with comments.

Don’t be so hasty to pass judgement. If a topic gets out of hand, it can be closed.

If a topic is deemed only suitable for 18+ people, it will be flagged as such, making it disappear from people who are under 18.

Well, I suppose that if you need help that requires a controversial topic, it’s okay, but if you just want to discuss it, it’ll be taken down.

i perfectly understand that if a topic becomes too perverse or loses its point that it should be taken down but if you could see what this one was about there were like 4 one line posts and none were even in the least bit close to offensive…i dunno its just weird…

It’s up to the discretion of the moderators and admins as to what is taken down and what stays. I don’t see the post you are talking about in the list (I’m a moderator), but we definitely do not discriminate if that’s what you are trying to imply.

If the moderator had an outside issue with the creator of the post or with those talking in the post, it might’ve been removed. What was the title of the post removed?

Oh, you don’t discriminate- I just feel that you abuse your power. Mob mentality. Of course, that’s just my opinion, and in a few seconds, it will be a banner saying “this reply has been removed.”

Exactly. Why can’t I express myself on this site? I try to, and some admin rears his head and says “Don’t be rude to our moderators!” (See my shout box)

Exactly! Just because one mod doesn’t like it, doesn’t mean it’s irrelevant or “inappropriate”!

Alright, once again, you can stop jumping to conclusions. Make sure that you’ve fully read and understand the Terms of Service that you agreed to when you joined this site.

The post was not taken down.

It was merely marked as an adult post. I have unmarked it as such, and all of you teens under 18 will now be able to see it and post to it.

AnishK, if you do not like the services allowed to you on the site, you are more than welcome to leave :P

AMEN…whoops, Caps..meant..amen.

As I learned myself, this is not a democracy, a club, a member paid and supported site, nor a free for all..it is part of a Business, with rules, liabilities, and a structure that is adhered to as much as possible, within the strictures of human fault.

anyone who cannot grasp this is..well, probably not old enough or mature enough to handle complete disclosure on all subjects, thus the mods and admins.

as Marco said, if you don’t like what you see, you are free to..”Change the channel”

or, just stop paying your membership fees..oh, whoops, forgot..free site.
