I am now homeless.

I am a drug addict who is now clean. during my addiction i stole from my family. i have told them of my problem and how i really wanted to get clean, however they turned me away. i have no home, no job, no car, no money! i want to make my life better. What do i do? i am not a bad person. i got mixed up in prescription painkillers and don’t know what the **** to do.

You are clean! Congratulations! We are proud of you! Have you contacted local charities that will help you back on your feet? A hand up instead of a handout? What skills do you have? Might you help others with a addiction like you HAD?

You can call United Way and they should be able to engage you
and direct you to an Org that can help you.

Some of the most amazing success stories started when someone was brought down to their knees with nothing… everything being stripped away. All they had was an ability to believe in themselves and then to ask for help…

Forgive yourself for your past and let it go. Begin to believe in yourself and take one step at a time toward improving your life. Pray can really help. There is alot of help out there, when you are open and feel you deserve to receive it. Let it in…
