Love help: knowledge is power within our world either it be book smart or street smart it harbors great strength - Help.com

knowledge is power within our world either it be book smart or street smart it harbors great strength

but what is this world filled with smart menand woman coming to
instead of progress i see paranoya
not intelectuals but mad men walking on the streets
alot of people love knowledge, they even thirst for it
but others reject it. they think that it is brainwashing which i don’t believe.
but at times when i look around and wonder and just wonder
I once fought and hated that ignorance is bliss concept know i think of it i don’t think it such a bad thing
i see what our knowledge is accomplishing which is both good and bad that is the honest truth
but if we have this knowledge and procure it for the middle class and rich that isn’t good but that is false
we need supplies funds
alot of us out there sit on a pile of gold and say i’ll give 20 dollars i am not saying that you should give all your money but how do u feel knowing you have the ability the knowledge to help another but don’t
is being all pretentious and full with pride worth something well we all die either you like it or not
but at times i feel sorry for some of us soo said human being with our cold hearts.

that is soo not true if the person was truly a wise man or person. you’d be wise enough to know that you don’t know everything. and for the fools concept i soo agree.

Awesome words of wisdom……….

and such is the world we live in…………

However, those of us that understand it, this way, can and should do all within

our power to spread the word, and call attention to this fact, as well as live it

to the fullest. One person can do more than they realize, to bring change.

How does that expression go? “Fools go where wise men fear to tread” That is the way we are today, people have no fear of “going” anywhere, we broach any subject, we have no respect for ourselves much less each other, there is no such thing as the sanctity of human life, we murder babies in the womb and try to decide if the elderly or mentally handicaped person has the right to life based on their societal value. We look down on others because they do not live up to our standards, and label them inferior. We have fallen far from our intended place as Gods highest creation. Sorry, I’ll come down off of my soap box now.

I think I get what your saying and if I understand correctly: I’m far from being rich (money wise) and/or famous but From their point of view,The ones with the knowledge, power and money, I know and agree about the greed and selfishness, but for the most part, not all are like that. There is many different reasons why they don’t help or use what they have to help others.Time, Taxes,Etc..And some just don’t have it in them for various reasons.I agree with Silverwings,as always, That 1 person can do so much , make a significant impact and impressions. Some just don’t believe it or dont know it. And yes, some just don’t care. Unfortunately So. I’am one of those who do have a thirst for knowledge , not so at a younger age i might add, but it’s just as important to teach children to read as it is to teach them to have a soft heart. They should go hand in hand. Thanks for letting me get that out here and I hope I helped you see things more clearly :)

I agree with (felicity)you. that you should teach a child to learn and a soft heart. but i can not say in numberes but alot of parents are the cause of their children being the way they are and some even put wars against their kids, some don’t and try to mold their kids into better people.and just hope what they give to their kids will stick. but others which is the let it do parents don’t give a dam of how they are raising their kids which is very sad.And a NOTE to all you parents. if you are on this site i hope or think you are one of those parents that fight and love their kids. you might be the ones with all those parenting books. but if your child ended bad well thank you for trying to put some humanity into those little angels. A parent can do so much, you cannot control their environment as much as you think. even if they go through rough times they have to fight to get out, not the other way around for you to fight for them that just makes them loath you a bit. just give the help you can not the one you do all there is for them give them a challange.
