Thank you. I am still waiting and I know it is hard to move on obviously, lol. I am going to leave it all up to feb. and see how things go, if he seems distant I will move on. The hardest thing to do is end our friendship. I know that if I were to move on I could no longer have contact with him. It would just be to hard. I will check out les brown, seems very cool.

I’m afraid to make friends, whenever I want to talk to someone I distance myself from them, and when they start talking to me I start questioning their sincerity and wonder if it’s even worth their time if they’re actually being sincere, or if I could actually say anything to make us friends.

Thoughts of what other people say to me consume me, I feel so limited and powerless to what seems to be the inevitable consequences of my inherit inability to be liked by others.

I’m a 9th grader, who for the first time in his academic life is getting C’s, D’s and his first failing grade in school and doesn’t know if he’ll get better or get around to doing his homework again, study or be able to meet the challenges of academic vigor.

I feel like my future is limited every day, that each day that is spent without a cause contributes to the narrowing of my potential, the distance I can gain in my lifetime and pushes me away from finding my well- being.

To me I feel like these are my biggest problems. I know my problems aren’t nearly as serious as many others, and it would be spoiled for me to think that what I’m dealing with is ‘difficult’ or ‘harder than other’s (problems)’, but I’ve tried talking to my parents, my school counseler, I have a psychiatrist and I take medication for anxiety, and I see no end in sight. I have trouble making goals and choosing which ones to follow, if anybody could suggest anything to help me in my time of need, I would appreciate it far beyond what I can articulate in my current situation.

sometimes you need to experience downfalls in life or experience something bad in order to change the way you feel about yourself or the world. you need to recognize what youd be missing in order to make your life better. dont let anything get in your way. overcome every obstical that you face. appreciate what you have now before its too late!

Please help!!! I have been married for 22 years. My mother had just passed away from a rough bout of cancer that lasted 5 1/2 years. I took care of her. When I came home full time 3 weeks ago, my wife took off with another woman. I thought our love would last forever. I guess I was wrong. My 19 year old daughter has been coming home twice a week from college to take care of her dad. I feel awful and feel that it is taking a toll on her studies. Pleas help this confused man. Should I bail out of this home we ahd shared for so long toghether? It really hurts to be here. Thanks so much, Jerry…

I so sorry it taken so long to respond to you I have not been able to login for about a week. I know your pain of losting you mother I lost my last July and I toke care of her for a long time she was 91.

You say you came home and your wife ran off with another women, that really had to hurt. It bad enough if when it’s a another man but a woman! I not sure what to say about that.

You going to have to be strong for yourslef and daughter, make her you will be alright so she can relax and study.

I know it hurt to be still living there and everything remind you of your wife. But if you stay or move depend how long you where living there. If depend on how many memories you have there and if they over all was good or bad. But your daughter may need a place to call home if she needs to.

But ask your daughter about what you are thing about and see what say she old enought to give you some feedback. I will keep you in my prays

You can use this formula to reduce the pain in your life and your friends life.

My Pain = Total Pain in the world / No. of living beings – My sacrifices + the pain caused me – The abuse suffered + the hatred spread.

One can reduce his pain by

Supporting life – Every life supported will ensure that there is an additional being alive to share your share of pain.

By not causing pain- There is already enough pain in the world please do not add to it by causing some more. Most pain is caused at home to ones own near & dear ones. Be soft in speech with neighbors, subordinates, colleagues etc. Remember any pain caused by harsh words will come back to you.

By sacrificing – A sacrifice can be by giving up some pleasure, giving up a habit, giving up a desire, giving up a asset small or big tangible or intangible etc. Every sacrifice lowers your assets but increases your living energy just as a balloon sheds weight so it can rise higher. When life itself is threatened why do you cling to material processions?

Abuse suffered – Every abuse thrown at you is transfer of karmic merit from the thrower accept it with gratitude for it comes at no cost.

Hatred Spread – Remember every day waves of pain are racing towards you from 4 corners of the world to surround and drown you and your family. Shield yourself by sending out the waves of love understanding and sympathy to others. There is no other way. Inertness will drown you.

God does not exist. This world consists of science and actuality, not religion and belief. Jesus was a man of history who created the largest CULT to exist. Religion, god, faith.
