Well we got that you didn’t know, that’s why you asked the question right? :)

Anyway, there are acting schools all over the place, and a ton of general universities have a theatre department.

As far as requirements needed to become an actor, it would completely depend on who you ask. Some people just happen to fall into acting without a formal education in acting, while others went to school to become an actor.

My suggestion is to find an acting school you are interested in and try to gain acceptance into it, and if you can’t get in to the school of your choice, find a university with a theatre department and start there. Also, you might want to start looking into community theatre and such, you’ll need as much experience as possible.

I’m not into acting, other than going to theatre and such, so I’m probably not the best to answer this question. But those are my suggestions. Good luck with it.
