Find help: Hello, I have been trying to repair an old computer that was given to me. - Help.com

Hello, I have been trying to repair an old computer that was given to me.

It has win.98 and the cd-rom was not working so I got in touch with dell and a tech there had me delete all parts in all places to see if the os would find it and reload it but that didn’t work. It also is slow and I have been looking to find the best or a good or complete optomizer to help speed it up or repair registry problems, wich are alot.

Please someone Help me, I am a baby when it comes to computers. Thank You in advance. my e-mail is: (email removed)

Find a Win 98 CD so you can format the hard drive and start over. They have some on Ebay cheap.
