Today help: I cannot get onto AOL……I have verizon DSL service - Help.com

I cannot get onto AOL…

…I have verizon DSL service …….I put in my password…….it seems to go to a dial up instead of DSL…….what is going on…..this just started happening today

Go into options. Look around, there is an option to change the way you connect. If it says something like “Lan ” then choose that.
