I dont know what to do, boxing & karate, or school.

Fighting gave me my purpose when I had nothing to live for, It stopped me from killing myself…But now I am burning the candle at booth ends, karate starts at 6:30 and I dont get home until 8:00, boxing is even later, I feel like I cant keep it up, and I feel a hole opening inside at the thought of stopping fighting. I dont think I’ll be able to live long without it, my wrist may become lonely and beg for a blade. I “need” school too though, I “need” to finish it so I can “be somebody”, I know that in this world today, if you dont have a education than you probably wont go far, (land of opportunity my ***) but I dont know what to do, should I take my chances and work for a career in fighting, or should I play it safe and focus on school?

Hey :-) good for you considering your options. It sounds really hectic trying to do so much. Is what you are saying that you need to drop Karate or Boxing ?
Well done for choosing to stick with school. I basically flunked school and regreted it. i wish I had your insight when I was at school I really do…(and don’t think I’m being patronsing (well - you can if you want!) I really do mean that!)
Any ideas which you want to keep up?

I just got finished talking with my parents, and I decided to drop boxing, because the problems with school didnt start until I took up boxing on top of karate. So yes, I will keep doing karate only, and keep going to school. Thanks for the help!

If you do too much, your body won’t be able to take it. And you will end up doing worse than if you just did a few things. I am happy to see that you are making yourself more efficient.

Sounds like a good choice - to stop the boxing for a while. Always focus on school - but another suggestion might be to drop both Boxing & Karate and find another fighting sport to try (MMA, Judo, Ju Jitsu, etc.) that might be more convient for your schedule. It might also give you a boost of excitement for trying something new…

Add MMA in your options. Its as good as karate or boxing ;)
