homework help: I am looking for a book. - Help.com

I am looking for a book.

I am not sure whether it is fiction or non fiction. The only information I have is that the woman in it has malaria and evidentually faces consequences because she does not take the medicine for the disease.

That’s a pretty vague question, I’m afraid. I know there is a book called The Poisonwood Bible, by Barbara Kingsolver in which a girl fails to take her quinine and gets malaria. But it’s a single event in a much larger book, not the central storyline, so it may not be the book you’re looking for.

And, incidentally, the Poisonwood Bible is a fiction story set against nonfiction events.

My son thinks it is The Poisonwood Bible. I didn’t realize that it was one of “Oprah’s” books. Did you???
