It can not be fixed. LCD’s are controlled by a liquid a kin to soap. Electrical components cause the liquid to twist on a certain plain axis. This is how LCD’s show the different colors (colors are red, green and blue, depending on how much they become twisted is what makes the colors of the screen). Because of the liquid this is the reason it can not be “repaired”. In a way this is why one can not patch a CRT. The CRT tube is a vacuum tube.

It can be repaired, but it is expensive to do so. Not prohibitive, but expensive.

Don’t know, not a repair tech. But you can do a search on google or yahoo!. I do know it would be less then the cost of buying a new one lap top.

It probably is if it is an LCD. LCD means just what it says, Liquid Crystal Display. LCD is liquid material in suspension between two layers of glass, one glass is clear, the other glass is semi-mirrored. Between the layers of glass is the fluid which is opaque, when a current is applied the crystal twists to show what is underneath. It is all an array grid, where two wire intersect will cause the LCD material to twist. So when you say, “It looks like it is bleeding, it very well is!”
