Guitar Amp Help

Does anyone know how to use a Line 6 Spider III amp? It is sooooo flipping complicated. It’s like, you have to hold down this while turning that and then release it when it starts blinking at 20 blinks per minute. It’s ridiculous.
My problem is that I want just the regular clean tone and not any added effects. The light on the far right is blinking and I don’t know how to stop it. I didn’t do anything to it: I just turned it on and it was like that.
Can anyone help? Thanks.

I wish i could help with the Line 6 amps but the only amps i specialize in are the Crates and Marshall full stacks and heads. I’ll gladly try to help.

LOL I know those amps they are a bit complex. The dial on the far left that controls the tone should be set on the far left “clean”.

It is set on clean. I thought I had learned how to fix it, but it won’t change. The only thing that changed when I try to fix it is how fast the light on the far right blinks.

all the blinking light is a tempo marker… if you have problem keeping time, you tap that twice at the tempo you want… it also changes the tempo for your chorus/flange, phaser, delay, etc… if you just want a completley clean sound, i use the green clean LED, bass eq at 8, mid eq at 3, high eq at 5… turn everything like your drive, effects and reverb completely off by simply turning the knobs to 0. you should get a nice clean acoustic sound depending on how good your pickups are. it is just very quiet.

My Spider III head has a fantastic tone, i used to use marshalls, went through 3 of them, but these flashy christmas lights on the spider didnt last. Sound is still there but lights are all gone! ????
