I am a 53 yr.

old and I need some help. I have worked hard all my life in the retail industry and have nothing to come from it. I had no health insurance from my employer as we were a small company. In July I was diagnosed with atrial fibulation, severe sleep apnea, and other physical ailments. I am experiencing foreclosure, and filing for bankruptcy. I lost ny job and have been denied unemployment. This week my daughter, 1 of 3 girls, her boyfriend asked for her hand in marriage. They understand my financial situation but I gave my oldest daughtrer a wedding and would like to at least help out on this daughters also. If you could find it in your heart to help with even a dollar, two, five or whatever I would be forever appreciative. They are planning the wedding for Friday Feb. 29th due to the date being different.

God…it must be soooo so tough in the states with the whole health service set up. We moan about the NHS here but we are actually really fortunate.

I’m sorry, I can’t give you money though - i need mine…!

this is totally off the topic, however to melw197 - what is the NHS?
to bballhomey200… maybe you are a member of a local church who, in this situation may be able to donate the hour it will take for the service itself? also, you could make the wedding favors by hand probably very in-expensively… i had a large wedding at the age of 18 and my ex - husband and i paid for about 80% of it ourselves and i pinched every penny possible and still had a great celebration for a total cost of $800.00. just keep your eyes peeled! good luck and congratulations.
