well… I don’t know the name of the song so pretty hard to find the music for it. Bonnie Rideout is an excellent Celtic fiddle player… her music books are for sale. I like musicnotes.com because you can download the sheetmusic right to your PC where you can print it off as well as listen to it. It is really very cool. Check out…

Would you be willing to buy the music?
I don’t know any songs, but I think I know how I can help. Any song that has a fast rythme and constantly cnaging from one octive to another is garentied to impress your teacher (but my spelling will leave my teacher vomiting…). Good luck!

Why are you impressing your teacher?
If you are being classicaly trained (Baroque) I wouldn’t suggest using a folk tune. The technique is way different.. hence violin vs. fiddle.
If your teacher is teaching you classical, use a piece that focuses your playing on technique.. correct bow directions, proper volumes of pianisimo through fortissimo, bowing styles, and rythmic patterns. While these are universaly important, fiddling is a lot less constrictive, does not focus on proper technique and requires a lot more passion. If you try to impress a classicaly trained teacher, you may get raised eyebrows and docked points. That is what happened to me.
chanson de matin will do
I have the same exact ? and can’t get any good answers!!!!!!!
