Harmonica players?

I was wondering, what type of harmonica is a “typical” harmonica? Is it a 12-hole chromatic? I just want a standard one to start learning with.

well if you want a basic normal harp i’d go with the 12 hole chromatic honer…it’s easy to learn it’s a good solid price and they are easy to find.

Okay, thanks!
Um….. What “key” is ’standard’? Online, they are in A through G and Bb and Eb.

The best kind of harmonica to begin on would be a 10 hole diatonic harmonica in the key of C. Start with a hohner marine band or special 20.
