emo u cut ,scene u dont , im niether but thats what they are

Seriously, cutting isn’t cool. Find a counselor or therapist. Go through school or friends or something. Don’t cut.

“Emo” is a type of music, but since it has developed to become a “style” or “personality” Just think of the longer from of “Emo” — Emotional. Emo is known to be a characteristic of an emotional person, whether depression or love. Some people try to become “emo” because they think it’s cool or attractive, they should be seen as poseurs. “emos” are known for their unique clothing style, which is said the idea of it has been stolen from punk and hardcore dress styles. Scene on the other hand is more of a not-as-sad-or look at me im so dramatic stereotype. Scene’s are more upbeat and social. Most emo’s don’t have many friends or people they talk to. They isolate themselves from others. And I should know, because I’m one of them

scene is like the name for wannebe emo’s…alsow called wemo

scene is outgoing and fun with bright colors but like emo we also do wear some black clothes and nailpolish along with pretty long and shaggy hair,tight pants Ect.

ALSO:Im a light skinned black scene chica (which proves race has nothin to do with it) and we are not wemos just more outgoing and happier

i wudnt stereotype ’scene’ as wanabe!
Of course people are guna wear what attracts them
and SOME LOVE the music scene, fashion, and caring nature of ‘emotional’, but arn’t depressed!
so u have to be depressed to wear ‘emo’ clothes?
im sorry, but stereoptypes dont ‘own’ a style, and any that consider themselves a certain stereotype, ie, scene, are tryin to hard to be that type-which is why they can identify themselves as it.
Im so tired of being labelled emo from my frends-simply coz my fav colours are black, grey and purple!
but i embrace and accept other styles, and love panic and foxboro hot tubs new sound!
i would NOT class myself as emo…-yet i dont aim to be ’scene’!
Stereotyping has gone too far, its no longer seen as cool and unique to be urself…
instead we try to ‘box’ people, and if they dont quite fit-oh ur SCENE OR WEMO!

its simply a style of music!
scene is what stupid ppl steryotype ppl that wear lots of colourful things
and have unique hair

if you ask me it shouldnt be “scene”
it should be THEIRSELFE

Don’t believe that ALL emos cut.
Most of them do it because that is a stereotype that every “fake” thinks emo is. That’s the main reason people hate emo’s. Because they flaunt how “depressed” they are and how much the cut. If there are 100% of emos in the world, at lease 95% think emo’s are about depression and junk like that.

REAL emos are all about the music. In touch with their emotions, heartfelt lyrics that they can connect to. Yes, alot write poetry and songs. They are notice by their black and/or a few colors in their hair, which has a fringe at side with maybe a little teasing/spikey at the back, band tees, skinny jeans. Think of punk, but a bit softer and alot of emotion.

Scene now is not much different in looks, but they don’t seem to care about emotions too much. . They aren’t all about heartfelt music. Its like a fashion side of emo, so to speak. They are notice by their outrageous hair and fun, colorful clothes, which may be a popular brand. Their clothes are similar to emos, but more fun BOTH have facial piercings and it is very common to have plugs in both. BOTH wear skinny jeans.

To me their isn’t too much of a difference in appearance. But there is a different in attitudes.
So real emos [if there is any left] aren’t depressed, suicidal, cutter etc. That is a stereotype. And that is the reason everyone hates them.

scene is like a preppy emo or punk and they cut sometimes also

why do they have to be so miserable and depressed, sensitive, bleeding and cutting people anyway..its so dumb..and god! EMO isnt a type music….the reason emo ppl are always crying and bleeding n stuff is that they get into their music too much and cuts them self cuz they cant stand how beautiful that song is :]]

it means diff things to diff people. to me, its wuteva the person says it is. if a person say dey emo, dey can be emo, if someone wanna say dey scene, den dey r. most people i know are both. but personally, labels are the stupidest thing ever! just stop labeling people! its lame!
