Umm…

so confused about weight stuff?

Right. So on Saturday night, went to a party. Ate quite a lot of stuff… you know how it is!
So I came home and did 2000 starjumps before bed. Before I did the starjumps I weighed myself.
9 and a half hours later, I weighed myself again and I’d lost a pound and a half.
Normally I lose a pound overnight so I thought I’d lost the half a pound through doing starjumps.

Then yesterday, I had a small lunch, can only have been about 500 cals (so small ish) then for tea we had a chinese… I didn’t eat much but I’m guessing around 1000 cals.
Weighed myself when I got home and I was the same weight as I was Saturday night when I weighed myself, before I did all the starjumps.

So I thought - I’ll do one better! So I did 3000 stajumps, then went to bed. I weighed myself 9 and a half hours later, and I’d only lost half a pound from the previous night.
That’s even less than I normally lose during the night!

So how come? Have I put on muscle weight or something? Because I’m trying to lose weight, but when I cut down on calories and exercise, it seems I just stop the losing! Argh!
If I had about the same amount of calories today as I did yesterday, but without the starjumps, would I lose more weight? Or would my weight loss stop altogether?

I’m so confused!

Oh… and Happy New Year!

Um .. I dont really know much about these kinda things.
But I think you should do your starjump thingies regulary, and maybe eat different types of things? Maybe eat a little less (just a LITTLE) but eat more healthily.
And also, I dont know if this is true but someone told me that if you eat befor you go to bed/have a nap you gain weight more easily.
And please try to not weigh yourself every day. Just do it once a week maybe.

Weighing yourself regularly you will notice that your weight fluctuates. Chinese food contains a lot of salt therefore, more salt, more water retention , more weight on the scale. watching what you put in your body will effect everything keep doing your star jumps- what are those???? I am interested.

If you are putting on muscle you may see that i the beginning, you may gain a bit of weight because muscle weighs more than fat however, it also burns fat faster once its in place!

So keep up the star jumps!

Small differences in your weight are usually down to loosing water or liquidfrom your body. When you have lost that then you move on to loosing actual fat so the small differences in your weight arn’t you actually loosing weight.
