I swallowed a tiny fly, will I be OK?
Here’s the story. I’m 16 and I play the guitar in my basement. My mom has a garden outside. But it was getting too cold and the plants started dying, so she planted some of them in pots and brought them down to the basement (she even installed bunch of artificial sunlight tubes so the plants would grow). But the plants brought down bunch of tiny flies (they’re really small, barely a millimeter). We used to spray the plants with insect killers, but it didn’t do much good. So, after 2 weeks of not spraying, my step father pours a glass of vinegar on the plants. After that, the flies started getting fewer and fewer, but there are still some of them flying around. So, this morning I was playing my guitar. I yawned for few seconds and I feel that one of the flies flew into my mouth and into my throat. I didn’t choke (the fly wasn’t big enough), but I could feel it buzzing in my throat. I tried spitting it out, but the process squished the fly in my throat (I think it died) and made it go even deeper. So, I swallowed it. I still feel a little irritation in my throat, but it’s very small and I think it’s my imagination. Other than that, I feel fine. Am I gonna be OK? By the way, does anyone know what those flies are called? They’re very small, tiny flies.
