A professional would probably be a gbood idea. I’ve a terribly addictive personality. In the past I had a lot of drug problems. Now it’s down to alcohol and video games. I made it about 4 months sober before slipping recently. A pro can point you to alot of resources- group therapies, etc. Cognitive therapy claims to be having great success with addictions.

If its substance abuse have you ever tried AA or NA? I’ve seen that work wonders for a few friends and a family member.
