Because I think they picture more than just the hand holding, and then they don’t like what they picture.

Like I don’t like green beans. Now seeing someone buy green beans at the store doesn’t bother me, but it might bother me more to imagine the taste of them.

Homophobes also often are a little bisexual themselves (or sometimes completely gay) and are afraid of anyone finding out, or even trying to convince themself that they aren’t. So they mistreat others.

It’s sad, but people always seem to think prejudice will work :/

What makes people racist? What makes people sexist? What makes people any bad thing? Ignorance. Also, one argument I’ve heard against homosexuality being accepted in society is that it’ll encourage the spread of AIDS (which is bullshit). Yeup, ignorance sums it up.

anon (poster) - of course anon knows people who are homosexual. everybody knows homosexual people, they might not know it, but they do know homosexual people.
and yeah most homophobes hate them from the begining cause their parents taught them too, and taught them to be narrow minded along with that.
