i have started the game over before and i have saved. but then then i turn it back on it either says it is corrupted or it just says new game

Dude, i know how to fix it because i fixed mine. Just wait a few mins after you save it then just turn it off and turn it back on.

there is a way to re start the corrupted save file…just email me what game and how it happened to you. Beware but this may affect you game. The game experience may change..you will bale to catch all 493 pokemon and some hard effects to the game.

my gold version is gay..
i make a new file and save it, then turn it off. but then i turn it back on and it either says “corrupted” or nothing at all and it just restart the game.

There is a little battery in the cartridge called a ‘Save Battery’ you have to replace it when it dies.

I know how to prevent AND stop the game from being corrupted.To prevent the game from corrupting all you have to do is don’t use action replay,don’t do any glitches and also DON’T EVER TURN OFF THE POWER WHILE IT’S STILL SAVING!!! And to stop corruption (if its already corupted)You have to wait a few second after saving every time you save until corruption stops,or just start a new game! Hope this helps!
