i have a compaq laptop on xp ,i purchaced a route 66

maxi sat nav and the sync software dose not work ,it asked me to connect the sat nav via the usb ,i did this ,the devise is not connected came up but it was. iwent back to halfords and they told me to download microsoft active sync this did not seem to help ,it did not do anythink ,the problem is still there i cannot get online to download new maps . any ideas?

how can I use my headphone in compaq772tu notebook. I am using vita as o/s.
