Windows movie maker…

“an interface has too many methods to fire events from”

thats the error that pops up when i try to import my videos onto WMM. this never happened with my dads camera when i uploaded videos from his camera, i got a sony handycam for christmas and now these errors come up. does anyone know how to fix this?
