I need to know about disc brakes.

I need to know how the brake pad in disc brakes comes back in after you have done released the brakes. Its for homework i need help quick!!!!!!!!!!!

disk brakes are always contacting the rotors, they dont really return. the pressure on the rotors from the disk is dependant on how much pressure is on the brake pedal. traditional drum breaks have a couple of springs inside that return the brake shoes to proper position.
