try www.110mb.com

they offer 5GB space, next to no ads, a backend control panel, and have been operating solidly since 2006. they also offer heaps of server-side scripting features (PHP, Ruby, CGI, etc..). In other words, wordpress will run beautifully here. Although, you have to pay a one time fee of around $10 to enable SQL.

I used their service when they first started, and they’re just fantastic, but i use jumba now.

Hi, it depends on what you are looking for: free hosting or paid hosting?

If you are looking for free hosting (you said subdomains are OK) you can browse these sites:

http://www.guidahosting.org/spazio-gr…

Anyway, if you are looking for a professional hosting service, I suggest you choose a paid one.

Hope it helps.
