The candle that are plain (white) burn faster because the don’t hold as many chemical but if the candles were coloured then they hold more chemicals and are a lot heavier!!!
o and also it depend on the type of wax…so my previous one was wrong…color does not matter it depends on the type of was
Kudo’s to everyone that posted their comments!
Right on the Money!
Petroleum Based Wax Candles burn at a different rate
than Organic Virgin Wax Candles.
It all depends what you want the candle to do, Fragrance,
Low Light or Long Lasting etc., etc.,etc.
if someone can.. help me too.. we’re on a science project and my friend and I is doing this too and we really need to know the answer.. please everybody post if you can.. THANKS
If u are comparing colored with white here is your place. The answer to this question would be yellow a light color. This is because of the light coloring in the cloring holds a type of liquid in it. It is called clourfiled and this makes the wick alot stronger.
do u know what it fills like love in someone to know that u love someone else and what ur dream is …..
stupid people thats wat you are!
it has to be yellow but it also depends on the brand
so my advice is but diff colored candles from diff brands
ok

OMG! u ppl have no idea what ur talkin about. colored candles burn faster because the white candles reflect the photons of white light and the flame! A darker, colored candle absorbs the photons causing the wax more easily to melt, therefore the candle burns hotter and faster! DUH!
this is confusing!some people say its the chemical, some people say its the …liquid thing like the person above!
i need help to
im doing an assement and i need to now why it burns faster or sloer does anyone know how to help me ?
