The new foo fighters album is good. Kanye West is good, he really brought out the best of that Daft Punk track “Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger” in his version “Stronger”. You might enjoy some classic salsa from the salsa legend Hector Lavoe or Ruben Blades, those guys are great, they collaborated with the best musicians of that era like Willie Colon. Hector Lavoe died young in the 80s. Bachata music is great, you might enjoy songs by Aventura, Monchy y Alexandria, and Andy Andy. Anything by Boys II Men. Musiq Soulchild is great, he is a neo-soul artist. I left the best for last, Juanes is the best voice out there right now. He is a grat lyricist and he does alternative rock, rock, pop rock, ballad, and a slew of other stuff. Marc Anthony is today’s Hector Lavoe. English or Spanish, his voice captivates us all. If your looking for some percussion and such, look for anything bomba y plena, its an afro-carribean music style. Its where a lot of hispanic music derived from. I like the newish track “Apologize” by One Republic, remixed by Timbaland.

ok I might be repeating some songs…but too lazy to read all the posts above. I’m a text girl, so I’ll post the text with and then the link to the song on youtube. ok 5 suggestions:

1) The other woman - Nina Simone
http://youtube.com/watch?v=8Lh9mwgqb-A
has the text in the video

2) There’s a light that never goes out - The Smiths
http://youtube.com/watch?v=INgXzChwipY

lyrics:
Take me out tonight
Where theres music and theres people
And theyre young and alive
Driving in your car
I never never want to go home
Because I havent got one
Anymore

Take me out tonight
Because I want to see people and i
Want to see life
Driving in your car
Oh, please dont drop me home
Because its not my home, its their
Home, and Im welcome no more

And if a double-decker bus
Crashes into us
To die by your side
Is such a heavenly way to die
And if a ten-ton truck
Kills the both of us
To die by your side
Well, the pleasure - the privilege is mine

Take me out tonight
Take me anywhere, I dont care
I dont care, I dont care
And in the darkened underpass
I thought oh god, my chance has come at last
(but then a strange fear gripped me and i
Just couldnt ask)

Take me out tonight
Oh, take me anywhere, I dont care
I dont care, I dont care
Driving in your car
I never never want to go home
Because I havent got one, da …
Oh, I havent got one

And if a double-decker bus
Crashes into us
To die by your side
Is such a heavenly way to die
And if a ten-ton truck
Kills the both of us
To die by your side
Well, the pleasure - the privilege is mine

Oh, there is a light and it never goes out
There is a light and it never goes out
There is a light and it never goes out
There is a light and it never goes out
There is a light and it never goes out
There is a light and it never goes out
There is a light and it never goes out
There is a light and it never goes out
There is a light and it never goes out

3) In the mood for love - score (from a movie)
http://youtube.com/watch?v=pE-Y8O_LMa0

4) Hurt - the Johnny Cash version
http://youtube.com/watch?v=SmVAWKfJ4Go

Lyrics:
I hurt myself today
To see if I still feel
I focus on the pain
The only thing that’s real
The needle tears a hold
The old familiar sting
Try to kill it all away
But I remember everything

[Chorus:]
What have I become
My sweetest friend
Everyone I know goes away
In the end
And you could have it all
My empire of dirt
I will let you down
I will make you hurt

I wear this crown of thorns
Upon my liar’s chair
Full of broken thoughts
I cannot repair
Beneath the stains of time
The feelings disappear
You are someone else
I am still right here

[Chorus:]
What have I become
My ssweetest friend
Everyone I know goes away
In the end
And you could have it all
My empire of dirt
I will let you down
I will make you hurt

If I could start again
A million miles away
I would keep myself
I would find a way

5) Lord Anthony - Belle and Sebastian (weird video, but it’s the song that counts)
http://youtube.com/watch?v=B009Cbl3f9E

Lyrics:
Anthony, bullied at school
Get your own back now you are cool
Or are you scared bunking off though you’re a toff?
It’s all gone wrong again, you’ve got Double Maths.

But the teacher’s got no control
The boys all run riot
“You will stay quiet or you will die.”

Tony, at the back of the gym
Smoke another one, your chances are slim,
‘Cause here they come again
And they got you on the ground.
Tasting blood again;
At least it’s your own.

When will you realize it doesn’t pay
To be smarter than teachers, smarter than most boys?
“So shut your mouth, start kicking the football.”
Bang on the teeth. You are off for a week, boy.

You may as well take it in the guts, it can’t get worse.
Just take it in the guts, it can’t get worse than this.

‘Cause you’ll soon be old enough to leave them
Without a notion of a care
You’ll leave two fingers in the air
To linger there.

Tony, you’re a bit of a mess;
Melted Toblerone under your dress.
If the kids could see you they would pass you right by.
Blue mascara running over your eye.

When will you realize it doesn’t pay
To be smarter than teachers, smarter than most boys?
“Shut your mouth, start kicking the football”
Bang on the teeth. You were off for a week, boy.

(Anthony. it could be worse)
(Anthony, it could be worse)

They call you Lord Anthony but hey, it could be worse.
Lord Anthony but hey, it could be worse.
Lord Anthony but hey, it kind of suits you anyway…

You’ll soon be old enough to leave them
Without a notion of a care
You’ll leave two fingers in the air
To linger there.

ENJOY!

There’s a song called The Riddle by some 80s band I can’t remember the name of. It’s on youtube if you look for it.

It depends, if you want to have some little fun, try listening to “Radio Song” by a band called “Superbus”. If you want to listen to something more serious, try listening to “Chop Suey” by a band called “System of a Down”. And, if you want to listen to something like “Black Magic Woman” by a band called “Santana” (P.S. All of the bands i said are rock bands, nothing else.)

Arashi makes me feel better. cos I was in a Victoria Frances like world of darkenss and despair and as mystical as it was there were no rainbows.
Arashi = Rainbow.
I suggest Love so sweet, Kitto Daijobou and Sakura Sake. Go visit youtube.
They have pleanty more and they dress ridiculously which makes me smile more.
The Charlie the Unicorn songs are good
Put a Banana in your ear
Candy mountain cave song
Rick Astley!
O! and if you’re into fan service see DBSK- Balloons

Hey you said
