I’m afraid my dreams for after high school will fail

I typed “Help” into google, and here I am.

I’m not an unhappy individual. I have a family that I get along with and many friends. I don’t drink or do drugs and im a senior in high school. My grades are pretty bad, and I have a 2.3GPA. Though I tell people it’s a 3.0. I’m worried about colleges and my life afterwards.

I want to work in a recording studio and DJ on the side. I’ve been practicing Djing In my spare time and Im in a band and do the recording and beats.

I’m afraid I’ll fail. My dreams seem unrealistic. My plan is im going to go to a community college for 2 years, and then transfer to a better school to learn more about recording technology. However, I’m just not sure if I can do it. Failing in school was always “You’ll do better next semester”. It’s different now. I’m afraid of failing for real. I’m terrified.

ohh.
its okay.
my boyfriend is a senior, too.
i guess he kinda has the same feelings.
yay, dont worry too much.
try to focus in school, but i mean, dont hurt yourself or anything.
and if youwant to be a DJ, then try to learn anything you dont already know. if you believe in God, then just pray, and ask for help. everything will be okay.

We are bound to fail at some classes. Even I failed at Electronics in college (mostly my math classes), I then switched majors over to Computer Science and done very. Now is the time to experiment, to find out what you are really good at. Few people do well at everything so you just feel your way through till you find your niche. That is about all I can say about going to college. DO NOT WORRY ABOUT FAILURE! There is a saying, “very rarely do we learn from our success’!”

Hey bud. I know how you feel. I graduated with a 2.27. I was able to go to a decent university, but I chose to attend a community college after discovering the university wasn’t right for me. Life after high school is tough, but if I can give you one bit of advice, once you leave, you learn more than you ever knew before. No matter what your grades are, if you learn from your mistakes and keep after your dreams, you’ll be ok. And at the very least, you have a dream to pursue.
