I am in the military and i met a girl and we have been seeing each other for a month now.

I’m 25 and she is 20 and by the way she is 4 ranks lower than me. We do not work in the same field but its against the rules. We click all the way around from what we like and like to do, i never met a girl who likes to play paint ball with me or go surfing, or the same attitude like me. What do you all think i should do.

Ive been in the military, I would have an informal chat with my immediate supervisor. Present it to he/she as a hypetheical situation.

If the two of you are not in the same unit, you may be able to get a waiver.

(I was in the US military if that makes a difference)

If it’s “against the rules,” it’s against the rules. Are you willing to risk your career?
