Common Sense & The Credit System
That’s exactly the problem with people today. In a world that revolves around a credit standard, demoralized communities, and the separation of poor and wealthy there’s no hope for the following generations to become what our forefathers were. They were self-reliant, hard working, and trustworthy. The problem is that many of our children’s credit and our credit have been torn apart by lack of common sense. We want things we can’t afford, many of us buy things we can’t afford based upon pushing and prodding by more people out to bank a buck, and there seems to be no end in sight.
I have bad credit due to unpaid hospital bills. The spending of money for me was necessary (life-threateningly necessary), so I think we should be put under a different standard than everyone else. All those people out there who owe money for specific items (or clothing, cars, credit cards, etc.) should have worse credit than people like me, but in our messed up society, theirs is actually better. This sickens me greatly as I have worked my butt off to not have to take out such credit cards and car payments that I cannot afford. The credit bureau has taken it upon themselves to say that it is a far better things to be in debt for stuff you don’t need to survive than it is to be in debt for things that if you don’t get them you will die.
What’s worse, there are hundreds of thousands of kids out there who will never see a clean slate on their credit report due to their parents. Why must you destroy your children’s chances of a good life just for the wants of yourself? Are people really that greedy?
Why can’t we change this?
