Tell me what you think of this story that I wrote and be honest, I know it may take a while to read but please do:
Going into to my final day of working as a fire fighter, I was thinking to myself what I will spend the redundancy money on and will I keep up my days as a crime fighter at night dressed in black with a black mask on with black horns sticking out of the mask. As I entered the station I was greeted with massive cheers all around me. That morning was very quite and as I sat there waiting for a call I thought to myself what an easy way to end my career
However, that afternoon it became very busy and we were swept off our feet, we were called to all sorts of places such as Clogh, Paulstown, among other places, nobody in the fire department knew how these fires came about, and everywhere we went there was death.
We later found out when we got a call from Dublin, it turns out there was after being a bombing, this bombing had caused major fires elsewhere in Ireland, one was in Carlow the other in Dublin, and the fires were heading straight for each other, so we were asked to help the Carlow fire brigade intervene and prevent or slow down the fire.
The person in charge of tactics, decided that we split the engines into two groups one goes to Dublin while the other goes to Carlow, that way we are helping both places and have an increased chance of preventing the fires ever meeting. At two O clock, the next morning we finally got the fires under control. I immediately went home and got into my crime fighting costume and went out as El Diablo. I went looking for the cause of the fires when I noticed that they weren’t bombings at all, it was actually caused by chloroalkanes, which would explain the bang that they heard. I knew of only one terrorist group that would do that, the Neo El Diablo’s, they were always dressed in red, with red masks and all, they used to pretend to be good but had lately stopped this pretence.
I went looking for them straight away, I soon found them planting more chloroalkanes just outside the house of one of the top politicians in Kilkenny, I quickly grabbed what looked like my umbrella but was actually a gun, a knife and may also have been used for an oxygen mask. I quickly brought on the inevitable by using the gun part of my umbrella and killing some of the Neo El Diablo’s, near the chloroalkanes. I then noticed that there was a bag beside one of the chloroalkanes, it was covered in petrol, I looked inside and I noticed the head it was of a friend, I quickly changed the setting to a knife and unloaded my fury on the rest of them, killing everyone that was left in the vicinity.
I then turned my attention back to the chloroalkanes and went over to them, I was not looking around me, but suddenly I could hear a noise in the air, I looked up and saw a Molotov cocktail heading straight for me, I dived out of the way immediately just in time to see it light a chloroalkane on fire, causing an explosion.
I do not remember anything after that, all I can remember is hearing doctors operate on me in the distance, I woke three weeks later, and found that the doctors could not save my legs, the leader a Mr Enrique Montana, was arrested and charge with arson, murder in the first degree and attempted murder in the first degree, I gave my testimony, and he was convicted, it also emerged that America wanted him for murder so we agreed to give him to America on one condition that after the trial he be killed.
Little did I know that I when I walked into, work that morning that I would no longer to be able to fight crime because I had no use of my legs nor did I realise that so many people would be killed and an inhumane beast would be gone forever.
