I have taken birth control religiously for years.

I have gotten pregnant twice now, miscarried the first… any ideas? I know birth control isn’t 100%, but is it me?

Do you want to have a child?
Do u take them at the same time each day?Taking them late sometimes can affect their effectiveness. There are also new IUD’s that work great if you want to try something different. Hope this helps.

sometimes… the paticular kind of birth control isnt strong enough for your body… it seems like your dr would have told you that… have you tried the depo shot? i used that and it worked wonders for me.. plus after a bit of taking it.. your period goes away… its magical.. hehehehehehehe…. seeing that you are pregnant.. i hope this is a good thing for you… as you have been blessed…

you absolutely MUST MUST MUST take your birth control pill at the EXACT SAME TIME EVERY SINGLE DAY. the hormones in the pill only last 25 hours in your body, so if you take it at 6:00pm one day and 7:05pm the next day, you are risking reducing the pill’s effectiveness. If you have trouble taking a pill at the same EXACT time everyday, talk to your gynecologist about what other options you have. I highly recommend Nuvaring - you only have to think about it twice a month, it has the same effectiveness as the pill, but it will be more effective for someone who takes their pill at different times everyday.

The dose might need to be changed especially if you have been taking the same kind for a long time. Also if you have had any weight gain/loss that can change how the pills effect your body.
