According to this site: http://wims.unice.fr/wims/wims.cgi?module=tool/analysis/function.en, the answer is 4.

When you take the antiderivative of (1+x)^(-1/2), you get 2*(1+x)^(1/2).
If you plug in 8, you get:
2*(1+8)^(1/2)
2*9^(1/2)
2*3
6
If you plug in 0, you get:
2*(1+0)^(1/2)
2*1
2
So if you’ll find the answer is 6-2 = 4.
