I have a 3D Paper Helmet of a Cylon Helmet and I was

wondering instead of using silicone to make a mold of the helmet out of if I could just use fiberglass filler to either make the mold or just spread the filler over the helmet sand it down and go that route to make the helmet

if there is an art school or engineering school near you they might have one, we did when I was in college.

“Bondo” that’s what I was talking about, its a light weight auto body filler that is easy to sand. -less expensive than most alternatives, but more labor intensive.
