I need a Russian Recipe for School.

I just realized I need to make russian dish for my “Inn.Cultr.foods” class infront of every one.
I’ve looked up some stuff already…but it looks really gross. I’m having zero luck.

Perhaps a desert? EASY DESERT. I can’t cook at all.

Well blini are Russian….they’re pretty much just like crepes, which aren’t hard to make. Russians have a lot of “salads”, which are really more like potato salad than what Americans think of as salad (lettuce, etc. with dressing), and are super-easy to make. Borscht is also tasty and simple. I like rice salad, which is pretty much cooked rice, fake crab, peas and mayonnaise. Jam torts are also good. They’re kind of like what we would think of as a fruit crumble, but with jam instead of fruit. Just some ideas of recipes to look for.

I think the easiest thing to make is tongue- you just boil it and peel it, really… but if you have another day, or so, I can look up some recipes at home… how much time do you have?
