I would think “Yeah right” is the sarcastic & “Yeah, right.” is the idiom. & I would guess “yeah right” was born from the idiom. idk tho

it started with sarcasm, but now, i think it became an idiom. yeap, thats what im settling on. its an idiom.

i came to this because, when you say yeah, right chances are you just expect them to know what you mean by the tone of your voice. your implying it sarcasticly even sometimes. its just people know what it means. thats when it became an idiom. the moment people know it as a complete saying.
