tragically yes slimline but I dont think that helps answer the dude question.

I assume you mean the US one? it is after all the best example of a codified one anyway, in which case you want Article 1, that lists the powers of Congress.

bear in mind that throughout the founding fathers were introducing a system of checks and balances and a definate seperation of power. Might have been rich racists but they werent stupid.

section 8 lists the majority of congress powers, just search for the consitution on google and youll likely find this easily

You should not be using this site to do your homework. Part of the purpose of having you research questions like this is so you can learn how to learn–that is, how to make good use of reference sources.
