Some people like simple.
Some people like complicated. Some people like to make complicated matters simple. Others complicate the simple.
What happens when the simple world collides with the complicated world…well, if both parties have a friendly/easygoing temperament at the time, it can be quite fun. If one of the parties is in a foul mood…look out for a mega war.
I admit here and now…I tend to complicate the simple, but so thoroughly enjoy watching the two worlds collide. And yes, I love to mess with my ‘simple friends’. And the response is usually something along the lines of:
JADE…I gave you two choices which one??? YES OR NO, BLACK OR WHITE… I like to start my responses with: well, maybe, or this is this and that is that…frustrates the heck out of them. **grins wickedly**
So let’s have a little fun….
Do you complicate or simplify?
Oh and by the way…before EVERYONE feels the need to define the word simple (there are so many definitions). For the sake of this post SIMPLE = free from elaboration and complicated does not equal brilliance.

wow, you made my head hurt
Well, let me see, if one takes into account the variety of situations in which one communicates, I would have to say that sometimes I prefer simple, but at times I complicate. However, if you ask my dh, he would say I always complicate. Others might tell you I am quite direct. Of course this reply might indicate that I complicate things…. :-)
this post is too complicated, and by that I mean confusing, so I can’t answer you question…. there was a question right?
This post is too complicated, I don’t understand it, so I can’t help you. You needed help right?
i like things cut to the chase, if that means simple, then i guess i am
Another simple mind… thanks Scream! I still think you are wonderful!
it’s just too much, i cant read
im so tired. Can you make a video about this hehe
just because it is complicated doesn’t mean its brilliant, and just because its simple doesn’t mean its stupid. look at the paperclip, not the greatest of inventions ,very simple, but how many offices could do with out them. then look at rubiks cube, very complicated, yet what real value has it added to the world.
the great gazoo claims ten points for the win alex :)
Here we go…. for the sake of this post SIMPLE = free from elaboration….
10 points deducted for assuming intent of this post needed clarification that complicated does not equal brilliance and simple doesn’t mean stupid.
But 5 point awarded for the illustration of the paper clip - cause well it’ just good…but the explanation could have been simplified. hehe

/me thinks about inventing a magnetic paper clip… runs to copywrite office.
I Try to simplify everything from everyday things like cooking cleaning to pressing Problems.I seek harmony and balance in all.It may sound boring but it’s what gives me peace.
hey you ain’t in Chat (takes a stab at guessing..JZ??? dat you?)
Peace is good Kim! Peace be with you!
I am complicated, inside a complicated world, with complicated children and neighbors that complicate our lives. I am married to a simple man, he needs me to overthink everything we all do, what would he do with out me. He would probably have some peace.
haha Dragonlady…our worlds are once again so similiar. I also have a ’simple man’ and yup, he would have much peace with out me…but I think he likes having me around for some reason.
the need us, otherwise they would never know there is more than mac and cheese and fishing.
awwww…pats gazoo on the head. Such a sweet childlike innocent he portrays…if they only knew…hehe

ohh okay then, (second thoughts)
bit comlicated you are
i like being complicated
But Therapsis - do YOU tend to make things simple or complicated?
I simply suppose sometimes I simplify situations to the point of simplicity.
I make things more complicated and more simple!!
I am stuck in the middle, due to a serious migraine right now from being sick. Otherwise, I try to simple the complicated and when complicated I take out the simple.
boy its complicated trying to decide just how simple is simply simple. when is it too simple, or not simple enough, is there such a thing as too simple, and if so what is it, nothingness?

the post was too long and complicated to read!
this is cool, wish i had some cheese.
and, yes Ma’am, I read every single reply.
out of respect and whatnot i made this reply, but my real reply follows below
Yes maam
Brilliant , by no means would I say I am , I am however complicated when it comes to doing the right thing. My children for example , when it comes to any thing pertaing to them I am very complicated , because I want nothing but the best for them which means never settling for less then the best for them , which could be the wrong approach , none the less it’s my approach .I don’t think people in general like a person who complicates things , because most people don’t want to give to much of their own time for someone other then themselves and now that I have COMPLICATED this post with a boring commentary , I think I should shut the hell up.
i pride myself on the way i confuse and complicate things:)
MJ, can i go outside and play with Courty?
simple is pretty boring though….
I have helped you in the past Jade… That puts you in a better position to judge me in this regard then I am in. What do you think I do?
Sully, you are simply complicating or complicatedly simple! LOL
Courty…If I allow Brian to go outside and play will you smack him if he acts up?
course i will luv, got the spiked paddle all ready to rumble
hi,do you know what a spiked paddle did to my Pa?
Ohhh…a spiked paddle…gots to get me one of those…That’s a simple method of punishment!
All this talk of spiked paddles is confusing me. Now, what was Isupposed to be doing?
i am your pa
It’s simple really…or maybe it’s too complicated. The question is which are you? That’s not so hard is it?
MJ, be careful, Court is CrAZy
O.o
I belong to the church of simplicity. We believe that god is simple and satan is the creator of all complications.
But I’m not very devout so I don’t take up arms against every demon I encounter.
peace
what the hell…my reply was edited somehowO.o
I really tend to complicate things. I always over-react, over-analyze… it’s annoying sometimes actually.
simple like a salamander.
I tend to overthink and overanalyze things instead of just believing in what I believe…therefore I complicate…it’s part of my slightly twisted and sadistic nature I suppose…;)
I’m like you, I like to make things complicated, just for the fun of messing with people, and see a side of them that others don’t usually see. I love playing around with my friends, and have them give me outragious reactions. Complication=Weirdness which is always fun!
I believe complexity is simple a dissection and the ability to anaylze the events leading to and possible resulting from actions that seem simpler in isolation. So… guess what side I’m on?
You like to complicate things.
I don’t even see how this topic is relevant to help.com
I admit that Ic complicate everything simple, and make everything complicated will be simplified for me.
weird.
I live in a messed up world in my messed up brain in a messed up family.
Oops I said that wrong… was typing on sentence then erased and made another sentence… sorry
I complicated it!
now.. simply put forget I said *make*
Simple! wooo
I prefer to keep things as simple as possible.
this is freakin complicated
your pa is complicated
Jehovah, name of the God of the Hebrew people as erroneously transliterated from the Masoretic Hebrew text. The word consists of the consonants JHVH or JHWH, with the vowels of a separate word, Adonai (Lord). What its original vowels were is a matter of speculation, for because of an interpretation of such texts as Exodus 20:7 and Leviticus 24:11, the name came to be regarded as too sacred for expression; the scribes, in reading aloud, substituted “Lord” and therefore wrote the vowel markings for “Lord” into the consonantal framework JHVH as a reminder to future readers aloud. The translators of the Hebrew, not realizing what the scribes had done, read the word as it was written down, taking the scribal vowel markings as intrinsic to the name of their God rather than as a mere reminder not to speak it. From this came the rendition Jehovah. The evidence of the Greek church fathers shows the forms Jabe and Jâo to be traditional, as well as the shortened Hebrew forms of the words Jah (see Psalms 68:4, for example) and Jahu (in proper names). It indicates that the name was originally spoken Jaweh or Yahwe (often spelled Yahweh in modern usage). Etymologically, it is a third person singular, imperfect, probably of the verb hawah (or hajah), signifying “to be.” The older interpreters explain the verb in a metaphysical and abstract sense; the “I am” of Scripture is “He who is,” the absolutely existent.

Actually, it’s YHWH as Hebrew does not contain the letter “J.” Everything else is correct.
YOWZA! BRIAN….it’s too complicated…keep it simple! **** that Encarta…I will never see the end of it now!!!! LOL.
like how there is always someone ready to correct me…or, encarta actually?
hehe..there are no y’s or w’s in the original hebrew either…it was a translation..sheesh..quasi knowledge is worse than no knowledge….and prolly obtained from Wiki
Erm, I studied biblical Hebrew. The letters ‘yod’ and ‘vav/waw’ are in their alphabet, thus making the ‘Y’ and ‘V/W’ sounds. I was correcting Encarta, not you.

I just saw this … the J translation, as far as I remember is through yod becoming greek iota which became later roman I and J.
simple enough
It’s too simple…can we complicate it please so I can understand it?
Are you sure it’s the simplicity that is disturbing rather than the mind-numbing stupidity and low-interest-information that tends to exist in the world at times?
…but yeah, www.psyche.com is kinda complicated

Yup. That’s about it. This is also why we call Jesus by his translated Greek name (transliterated, it’s Iesous) instead of his Jewish name Yeshua, or Joshua in English.
To explain further, in the original Greek, the names were translated from their Jewish origins. Thus, two of the authors of the gospels are Matthew and John (from the Greek Matthaios and Ioannes, respectively) instead of Matishyahu/Mattityahu and Yochan/Yochanan.
ahh. I feel so much better know that’s cleared up! Thanks!
**head still spinning from the simplicity of it all**
I usually tend to complicate things for myself but I try to simplify them for others.
