Okay, so what do you do when two people you’ve been friends with for years start acting like they like you as more than a friend?
One of my friends, Mark, told me that our other friend Mike said I said that I was having weird dreams about Mark. When I thought that was resolved, a couple days later, Mark said that Mike was sexually attracted to me, and I was really quite disgusted. When that was talked over with Mike, Mark told me some more about how Mike was saying that I was having those dreams again. Gross. Mark said, “I’m telling the truth! Just trying to prove I’m nicer than Mike!”. I asked advice from another guy who said they were screwing with my head and that one of them liked me. Today, I gave Mike a note asking him what was going on, and the whole day I was spitting mad, and at the end of the day they were both waiting for me in front of Mike and I’s last class. Naturally I hissed, “You two!”
Mike said, “So which one of us do you think has a crush on you?”(refering to the note).
I told them to ask the person I asked, and they started arguing with each other about who said what, and I yelled, “I’m not through with you two!”
The year before Mark switch out of Mike and I’s school, and he said that there were rumors flying around that we were going out. And when we asked him what his sorce was he didn’t really answer. He said, “You two go ahead and have your special momments.”
As Mike went into the classroom, I ran after Mark, grabbed his backpack as he ran out the door, and when he told me to give it back, I pointed at him and yelled, “Fine, but Mike and I were never going out and you know it!”
When I went into Journalism I couldn’t even look at Mike because I was so mad.
