My hair is always staticky.

It drives me crazy, I tried special shampoo and I don’t drag my feet. But it never ends! Anyone know a secret?

there are hair serums that you can put one drop in your hand and rub them together and smooth over your hair, but be careful cuz most hair serums can make your hair look greasy. and you can take a one of those dryer sheets and rub down the static parts, it worked for me

If it’s caused by a hat, scarf etc..try rubbing a dryer sheet on it b 4 putting it on.

I have waist-length, straight hair that gets staticky all the time from friction with my clothes, dry air, etc. Here’s my secret (and very cheap) fix:
After shampooing, rinse hair with clear, white vinegar; while the vinegar is in your hair, comb through it with a wide-toothed comb and you’ll feel the hair detangling and softening like magic. (Careful - don’t get vinegar in your eyes! It won’t damage your eyes, but it stings.) Then rinse hair thoroughly. You can add some conditioner then if you want to, but you might not even need it.
There might be a slight smell of vinegar in your hair after it dries, but only if you’re trying to smell it - and that goes away after one more washing.
I have really static-y hair, and a vinegar rinse corrects it for about a week.
