This is a very minor question:

What are the cons about dying one’s hair (I’m talking about negative effects on one’s hair)?

well if you are dying it a lighter color (with peroxide) it can really strip the nutrients of your hair(make it brittle and frizzy) but if you are dying darker it usually doesn’t harm it.

but another con is that you will have noticeable roots when your hair grows out.

if you bleach it, it is really unhealty for your hair, you could easily lose it or it could become dry and unsoft. other than that, no biggie. but your roots will grow out and be extremely unattractive if you dye it a totally different color.

depends on what you use.
anytime you are perminately dying your hair there is some sort of activator of peroxide in it.
if you use semi or demi it usually wont damage it too bad, and it fades out so you wont have roots.

you just have to read cause they have metals and all that crazy stuff in them.
if you do it professionally it wont damage it much but if you use a home kit you mise well shave your head bald because that is what will eventually happen.
