Why do you want to throw up?
Don’t start it. When you begin throwing up, you’ll want to continue because it gives you power and control over your weight, over the food you consume, over anything. Your teeth will be terrible, your breath will stink, and it gets to the point where its hard to breathe because your stomach acid will have burned your esophagus for so long. You’ll find yourself lying to everyone you always promised to remain truthful too. It isn’t worth it to begin because its a never-ending cycle of excuses and rationalization, until you’ve gotten yourself too far, where you can’t go back. Don’t purposefully throw up, and don’t learn to, or you’ll find yourself using it. Its natural for throwing up to not work, and theres a reason it doesn’t. Its extremely bad for your body and something no one should learn to do.
drink lots of tequila, like a whole bottle, then just sit back and let nature take its beautiful course

it hurts you know. after you’re done, you have a huge stomachache and your throat burns and you taste and smell bad and you feel sh**ier than before. if you need to for other purposes than weight loss, squeeze your abdominal muscles as you gag yourself. if for weight loss, don’t do it. it doesn’t work well anyways.
Since vomiting is the topic, I have a question to add if anyone can help. How do you know when you’ve thrown up all of your food? I read somewhere that stomach acid and water will start to come up, but I threw up earlier and I’m not sure I ever got to that point. I threw up quite a bit, but after awhile nothing else would come up except a tiny bit of spit up really and I was throwing up a lot more than that, so I know how to do it. I just don’t know when to stop?

i use the other end of my toothbrush and place it on my tongue and move it several time towards the back and into my throat. for me it works better if i do it faster. it’s a little funny, it make sme feel like i’m giving head haha :)
I want to loose weight, badldy. Ive tried to throw up, using a tooth brush, my fingures but then I freeze whenever Im about to stick whatever object it is im using down my throat. Is this is a sign that i shouldnt do it? All I want to do is loose the weight; the gym doesnt help me, anything I seem to do just doesnt help.
yeah, i would trust your body. i don’t throw up that much, only when i feel like i’ve really had way too much to eat.
there’s no way the gym won’t help if you exercise the right way. i have a perfect plan for losing weight. helped me lose 10 pounds in like, 3 weeks.
-stretch after you wake up, for at least 5 minutes.
-eat a healthy, filling breakfast (i eat a bowl of honey bunches of oats w/ 2% milk)
-eat lunch…whatever you want, but avoid grease and white bread. whole grain pasta or a salad. just avoid thos elittle things like dressing or extra salt.
-eat dinner at 6 or 7.
-work out for 30 minutes an hour or so after you eat (i suggest running on the treadmill with an average speed of 5 mph…this isn’t too hard and it won’t bore you too death because it isn’t for a very long time. make sure you’re sweating, though, because if 5 mph for 30 minutes doesn’t make you sweat then you need to go faster or for longer.)
-don’t eat anything after working out! (very important!)
the key is working out before going to bed. because what that does is it boosts your metabolism, so it works even when you’re sleeping. eating after 7 is a bad idea because your stomach just digests the food while you’re sleeping.
don’t drink soda. unless it’s diet. but diet soda isn’t good for you at all, so i suggest water. if that gets boring then you can drink some juice or iced tea (diet).
the main thing is: LOVE YOUR BODY. think about that all the time. when you’re about to eat cheese fries think about how much your body will be hurt by it. when you work out, it doesn’t just keep the weight off, it makes everything in your body healthier: your lungs, your heart, etc. if you really truly love your body you will realize how you need to treat it.

yes…i agree i just picked up the habit …and im loving the way I look but im not addicted! I only do it when necessary…if ive had too much to eat or what I ate was simply too fattening…anyways I dont think its as bad as people make it out to be its more like “super self control” after I lose 15 more lbs. ill be content enough to quit.
you should know that u have thrown up everything when you blow ur nose and black stuff comes out–thats stomach acid somewhat.

I don’t think that you should be looking to throwing up your food as an answer!
Do you remember throwing up as a child and thinking it was the worse thing in the world? What about throwing up after one too many drinks? Or what about vomiting because of food poisoning? Its not nice, and should not be something you inflict upon yourself intentionally.
Bulimia is dangerous in the long run, and can have serious effects on your health. It burns and most of the times, when you stick your finger down your throat, the food doesn’t even come up. And that is uncomfortable and painful, to yoir throat, esophagus and stomach.
You do not need to go through all of that to lose weight.
Do you personally believe you need to lose weight; Is that you own personal opinion or the opinion of others, society, the media etc.
If you do think that you are overweight, then to make sure, you should type in BMI (body mass index)into google and you type in your height and weight and it calculates your BMI and tells you which category you are in; eg- underweight, normal/healthy, obese etc. Now if you do end up being categorised as overweight, throwing up is not going to help you.
What will help is to CUT OUT the unhealthy foods you have been eating, such as pizza, McDonalds, KFC, kebabs, hungry jacks etc.. avoid these meals, and instead eat meals made at HOME, such as chicken, steak, fish (fish is very good, as it contains healthy fats that our body needs). And have mixed salad or steamed vegetables. There are many great and healthy recipes out there that you can look at online or in magazines that can help you. Cut out snack foods like chips, hot chips, cookies, chocolate, cake, ice cream. I think that chips, ice cream and cookies are essential to cut out in order to lose weight. With chocolate (such as ‘Cadbury’ or ‘Nestle’ family block eat only one and a half rows, or have a small chocolate bar like 3 times a week). And bananas are great for filling those ’sweet cravings’.
Now you need to exercise; walk half an hour 3 times a week to begin with, then make it 5 times a week or more, find someone to walk with. Throw in some cardio, and take up dancing, or pilates. Its fun and really works! Drink lots of water, and only allow yourself one glass (maybe 2) of fizzy drink (such as Coca-cola) after dinner. Don’t drink it throuhgout the day. I do all of this, sometimes i slack off with the exercise and other times i eat more than what i should. I don’t drink fizzy drink all day long, just 2 glasses after dinner. Its not dieting or grueling for me at all. Its a lifestyle, and if you want to live a long and HEALTHY life, then you need to eat properly and exercise. Even housework can help with losing weight as it works you out, burning kilojoules, therefore assisting you with losing weight.
Bulimia is a just a quick solution and a temporary one- it is not what is going to make you thin. After all you are just throwing up everything you eat, thus throwing up all the essential vitamins, protein, iron etc our bodies need in order to function properly, safely and healthily. It is a decision of your choice, however a a very wrong one. It will do nothing for you, just cause major distress, depression and health implications in your life. Obviously you are not happy with the way you look now; so by throwing up your food do you really think you are going to look better? If you are not happy now- you will never be if you continue thinking that bulimia is actually your answer!
I lost ten kilos just by cutting out the usual kebabs, pizza, and late night snacking, along with just the general snacking of chocolate and chips. I still eat chocolate, not every day but at least 3-4 x a week, and i have at least one glass of coca cola every night after dinner. And i walk with friends or with my boyfriend, sometimes (without noticing im actually exercising) three times a week, and i clean (housework) every day!
Btw I was never fat or even overweight before, I am 165cm (5 ft 5) and i weighed in between 60-62 kg and at one stage 64 kg. I now weigh 52 kg and am very happy with how much i weigh. I am a size 8 (us size 4, u.s designer size 2) and look good. And I did not do it by not eating or by throwing up. It is your life, and at the end of the day, you need to make sure you are living it.
Is becoming bulimic really living your life, or just decreasing it each time you throw up your food. I think the latter really describes it, and I think that what you need more than knowing how to throw up, is a healthy lifestyle!
For those of you who feel that bulimia is a huge issue, i agree. But you must take in consideration that all who choose to do this arent all doing it for the same reasons. I agree, also, with the person who stated that she throws up after eating fat foods and too much to eat. This is the way society has molded their people, especially girls, to think. Its ridiculous and hypocritical to say that anorexic and bulimic girls are out of control and they have no idea why they would inflict such a thing on themselves in the first place. Every girl,at one stage or another will induce vomiting in order to lose weight, reality check. Now i do not feel that an every day basis of throwing up is neccisary, but maybe if you feel you’ve at the wrong foods, or you are trying to fit into that dress, reasonibly speaking, in my OPINION it is not all the bad. Then again you are taking this from a person who eats every 2 days and on the day i do decide to eat, i throw majority of it up.
So to answer you question, my trick is to estimate the amount you are eating in pounds or ounces depending on your situation, lean over the toilet, standing up, and put your middle and pointer finger together down yours throat, keep them there until you start to gag. you might end up pulling away, its okay just repeat, this time keep them there and as you gag, push harder down and your going to throw up. keep doing this until you feel the toilet is a little more than a one quarter of the way full. DO NOT BRUSH YOUR TEETH AFTER!!!! rinse with WATER then in an hour, brush your teeth.

OMG! Are you girls really asking how to throw up your food? What are you thinking? Please don’t start doing it, it’s so terrible for your body. I had a problem with it when I was younger. Oh, it was so great to look thin because it seemed as though everyone had to be thin. I did it off and on for years. I’m not really sure why or how I started it, but realize how stupid it was. I am a mother now and look back with shame. I have to be very careful now because once you start doing it, it pretty much always stays with you, in your head at least. Sure, it’s an easy way to eat sweets and not gain weight. My gosh, if you have not started doing it or have just started, PLEASE stop. You will be so miserable, I promise. I found myself eating healthy all week, exercising all the time, but when I’d cheat with sweets, oh boy, I would freak out. That’s no way to live girls. Just watch what you eat and make sure to exercise daily. If you eat sweets once and awhile who cares. You aren’t going to gain 5 lbs over night. Just enjoy life, it’s so short.
My diet now is low carb and I do it all week with a lot of excerise. On the weekends, I splurg with the kids and today we had donuts. Sure, I felt a little funny after I ate two donuts. My mind kept thinking, oh gosh, I shouldn’t have eaten that. Why? Well, because I used to be where you want to be or you are. As the day went on, I quit thinking about it and had a GREAT day with my family. I remember before, I’d crame something else in my mouth and then sneak off to the bathroom. I only did this about 3 times a month or so, but hey, that was still too much. Just take care of yourselves and remember it’s NOT worth it. I agree with a lot of y’all, DO NOT START IT! Good luck…. Have a fun life…. I was able to kick it when I got pregnant with my first. I then realized what was really important in life. I stay thin now by watching what I eat, exercising, and playing with my kids!
i relii need to know how to throw up. I have tried with a toothbrush but it doesn’t work that well. Is there a better way?
well im 15 years old and i have 3 yeras thet i throw up every thing cause i wos 86kg and naw in a very short time i have lost 38kg naw i feel much beautiful and all the people loves me cause they dont know nothing…….i allways use me fingers i put i pull my stomach with the one hand and with the other i used it to provoke it with the fingers…. but i had a lot of conflict with my mum she is allways crying but i dont care because i want to live like a normal teenager not like a cow….. so you have to try it a lot of times….. okay im very very nauseated and i cant seem to get sick. all i can do is spit up and my stomach hurts. my doctor said i had food posining. how can i make my self get sick with out shoving somthing doewn my throat?
ive tried getting sick loads of times - ive tried the fingers and the toothbrush, but neither seem to work for me, all i get is a gag and a bit of flem :( someone HELPPPPPPPPPPPPPP!!! i need a fast way to throw up, and yes i do no the consequences and what i am risking, but im prepaared to do ANYTHING! im only 14, wighing almost 11 stone and im only 5″1 in height! im short, fat and basically in need of help! so many people dont understand, so many others do. i need ANYONE, ANYONE to just tell me how to get sick, coz i cant become anorexic and not eat at all, coz then my parents will obv find out and i dont want them to - plz someone i need help! ;(

alright..ive been throwing up for a year now. i only eat every couple of days or so and purge it up. i find the best way to throw up is to not eat for a while and shrink your stomach..then eat a fairly portioned meal until you feel full. also drink milk or carbonated beverages. i find those help the food come up better. i use a small unused paintbrush, making the thin horse hair bristles tickle my throat. i find that triggers my gag reflex easier and plus it doesn’t make my throat sore. also as im gagging myself i inhale slowly to help bring more up. it really does help. to know youve gotten all the food up you will either purge up nothing or straight stomach acid that has no bits of food in it and its watery. thats all hope it helps
I am 53 years old and come from a family with eating disorders. Throwing up your food ANY TIME is not good. We eat because our bodies need nourishment. If we eat too much on a consistent basis, we need to understand why. We need to go to therpy. Throwing up to lose weight or fit into a dress makes no sense whatsoever. I don’t say this to make people feel bad. I just feel for all you girls writing these emails and I wish I could help you see. I send my love to all of you.
ok so for me after eating a meal i chug alot of water then puke everything up. Or if that doesnt help mix milk and mustard. This is what they use in hospitals for people with alcohol poisoning to make them puke instead of pumping their stomach. This is a nasty drink, I tried it plenty of times but I just held my nose and chugged it when the two mix together in your stomach causing a reaction. Or you can always makeout with someone who has the flu and start puking like that.!! l0l hope this helps… PLUS I RECOMMEND you stop. My friends ended up in re hab because you become addicted to it like you would on alcohol or drugs..

pour a ******** of salt in it
drink a few gulps
put 2 fingers really far down your throat and breathe through your nose until you gag and throw everything up
that’s what i do.
Everyone is different so it just depends how easily you gag. I had a really hard time throwing up for a while too but it’s gotten much easier.
I’ve tried the salt thing plenty of times and it just tastes like **** and makes me retain liquids/gain weight.
As for the toothbrush it’s sometimes makes it easier for me to purge with my fingers if shove my toothbrush down my throat first but usually it just hurts as it’s long.
If I stick three fingers in my mouth and hold them on my tongue for like 15 seconds, breathe deep and then stick them down my throat it works. My main problem is that I was freaking out when I stuck my fingers in my mouth and then I would gag.
Find the constrictor muscle at the back of your throat, the muscle is behind the dangling bit of tissue called the uvula. Stimulate the constrictor muscle with a finger. Basically, just stick your finger down your throat and tickle it. Once you start to heave, take your finger out.

oh by the way if you do this for about 4=5 months you WILL end up thowing up BLOOD cuz of the acid will start to cut and burn your insides……if you arsk me you are all to lazy to get up and exercises like the rest of us!…….you all should go to THERPY! get help and have fun in life…or you can just keep you head down the loo and cry about how fat you think you are

I am bulimic,i learnt from my friend who has been bulimic for the past 10 years, im currently in my first. A few steps for you:
1. DO NOT EAT RICE, CHIPS OR BURGERS. but esecially rice, its impossible to get it all up.
2. Eat as much ice cream as you want!! it literally is iced cream, its nice and easy to get it up.
3. Noodles are easy to get up… the spirally ones especially
4. Drink as much water as possible.. CHUG the water as your eating and as your getting sick
5. Binge and purge, it will make it easier for you to throw up if you stuff yourself to the brim, eat until you physically can not eat anymore and it will probably start to come up itself.
being bulimic does not necesarilly mean that you get sick every single day, you may go days with out eating at all, then go on a complete binge and throw it all up… this is more or less the way i live, it is called being an anorexic-bulimic.
i have also come to the realisation that most women have their own eating disorders, do not feel that you are weaker than everyone else.. it is a global issue and societies fault, not ours
I don’t think any of you understand that say ’stop’ will do f**k all it just makes you angry which is the last thing you want.. I’ve had eating problems for about a year and what really pissed me off was when people think that attempting to talk someone out of it will help. It won’t… This is a mental disease! Would you go up to someone with a broken leg and tell them to just get up and run it’s the same sort of thing people.. When you have this there is no reasoning and it litrally controls you. If it was that easy to stop then trust me most of us would be cured but this stays with you for the rest of your life. It’s not a case of I feel like being anorexic today it’s a serious problem which can ruin you mentally and physically. I just wanted people to be more aware of this situation and to treat like an illness instead of a choice.
ok im bulimic…. it took over my life for a long time. literally i wanted to do was eat. i would get mad if my frends and boyfrend stayed in my house too long as i couldnt eat as much when they were around. id sit in front of the telly eating the presses until empty. my mother would freak, brother call me a pig but nothing put me off. then of course purge it all up. i blocked a sink in my house from purging!!!! now i have stopped this crazyness. i still have a problem though, been trying to quit for two years but still give in to my cravings once or twice a week- this is down from a few times a day!! anyway it only made me lose a few pounds in the biggining and since then iv just fluctuated around the same weight. i lose more weight when i dont binge and purge. any fast food will triger my need to purge. it puts me in a bad mood. i wish i never started it. bulimia not only messes with ur teeth and skin, it f**ks up ur stomach, i got sick IN MY SLEEP the other night because my body is so f**ked up- i cud have died. u proply tink tha u will never get as bad as me but YOU WILL if u start. bulimia damages a part of ur BRAIN and makes u less able to concentrate, ur eyesight gets damaged, ur singing voice gets damaged, ur mental health is abused and u will OBSESS over food- what to eat, what not to eat, what to eat next, what will i eat when i go home, when will lunch be ready, what will i have for dinner. then u try to stop this habit but every evening or everytime somthing nice is tempting you for dinner you decide “i’ll just be sick one more time and then tomorrow i’ll be good” “i’ll stop monday” “jus this once” BLA BLA BLA, 3YEARS LATER im still unable to quit this obsession. iv been bulimic 5 years and been trying to stop the last three.
Ok I’ve been diognosed as bulimia recently, I have been on and off for about 10 years due to depression and my partner has recently found out. I stopped whilst I was pregnant (now 5 months old) but started again 4 months ago as looking pregnant after giving birth disgusted me.
I went to a gp and they suggested councelling but I really can’t talk to people, I break down. I cancelled my appointment due to my partner working and no1 to look after my daughter, I have told him that I won’t re-book as i’ve managed to stop and he is happy and believes me. Has anyone here successfully stopped??? Give me some hope, I can’t do councelling. I’m just worried as I don’t have enough energy look after my little girl as it is. Every day I say that’s it but it still ends the same, I’m now back to a size 8(uk) but having to bulk out clothing so no1 notices except me. Please? Positive comments x x x
I think im bulimic, Im only 14 but have heard from my friends that they do it , i always thought it was discusting and stupid. But one day i ate way too much and i didnt want to loose weight i just didnt want to gain any, so i tried it. After earting sooo much i just puked everything out. & i actually lost a pound. I swore i would never do it again, but again i would get so anxious when we would order pizza and stuff thinking of how much i could eat and wouldnt gain a single pound. If you want to start i honestly recoment that you dont, it takes up your whole life. You find yourself only thginking of food all day. You start telling yourself its ok to have 4 pizza’s and a bag of chips and ice cream and chocolate because you can just throw it up anyways. You get so anzious because you just want to eat all you can already and its horrible. I was like you guys i wanted to take the easy way out too, but its not the right choice, please listen to me. Im thinking of telling my parents because i just cant live like this anymore its driving me crazy, i spend all my day thinking about food and how it will feel so good to throw it all up. Dont they say being sick will not work because your body has already broken down the food by 50 %. So if you eat a choc bar worth 500 cals if you are sick you can only throw up 250 cals.
I will tell you how to when you finish reading this!Throwing up is bad it can cuase serious issue for you, because your forcing what was in your stomache to be pushed up through your throat and if you ingest through your mouth it should come through ur *** !!! for the past week i have been debating on wether or not to throw up after eating my meals, this morning i ate and ENGLISH MUFFIN and 2 bowls or apple (email removed) i havent eaten anything els and i feel huge.. is this a really bad habbit? i have my tooth brush in hand ready to go , but will someone answer me? am i stupid? i am 14 years old and i have been sturggling with my weight since i was 12 i have always told myself i am fat.. does throwing up really work?
Oh boo hoo I had two kids I gained weight big deal with patience and excercise I will lose the weight throwing up just leaves a bad taste in your mouth and you feel awful after. Conclusion being a titless skeleton isn’t beautiful.

guys,please don’t make yourselfs sick, i have had friends that were bullimic (sp?) and they are miserable, ok so what if you are a little heavy set? so am I but I am not going to make my self throw up to help me lose weight. I tried going without eating for like 2 days and I was dizzy and felt horrible I almost puked but didn’t. I finally ate something and it was amazing. If God had wanted us to cause ourselfs to throw up, he woulda made us so that we would. The different sizes in this world is what makes us planet earth, it’s not been easy for me either cause I am heavy set to, but there is much better ways to lose weight! please if you have any questions feel free to email me
ok everyone. stop. listen to me. i kno about wanting to lose weight, and i kno that sometimes its miserable to look and feel the way you do. i’m nineteen and up until last year ive wanted to lose weight since i was ten. it feels like your not the person that is represented by the form of your body. and yeah, throwing up your food does seem like the fastest and easiest way to get rid of calories. but please listen to me. purging is is terrible for your body. i grew up with my mom being bulimic, and i would hear her throwing up after dinner and i would always attribute it to something else, that she wasn’t feeling well or whatever. well she’s 54 now, and it took me until two years ago to beat it into her head that what she was doing for her ENTIRE LIFE (since she was sixteen) was destroying her body.
She has had to have all of her teeth capped, and she is constantly shelling out tons of money to have the repaired, redone, whatever. i worry about her constantly, because her bulemia has put her at an extremely high risk of esophogeal cancer. and i kno the majority of you are thinking that thats not gunna be you, because you can control it and you can stop whenever you want and as soon as you lose the weight you’ll be happy and you won’t need to do it anymore. but its addictive. if you start, you’ll keep doing it. you will always be second-guessing yourselves about the amount you ate, and whether it was too much, and should you throw up just in case? believe me i kno, my mom has told me everything. she always thought she would stop. she wanted to stop. but she couldn’t. she became dependent on it, and all she thought about was food. it took over her life. so please, there are other ways to lose weight. i finally lost my weight the right way- eating less calories of only healthy food, and working out five times a week. not only do you lose the weight, but you tone your body so that you look even better by the time you look slender. and i kno this is not what any of you want to hear, but eating healthy food makes you feel better and have more energy. i kno all that other food tastes good, but in the long run, you eat it, it tastes good for ten minutes, and then you regret it immediately. so please heed my advice- don’t throw up your food. just decide that you’re not going to get food rule your life anymore. decide that your health and hapiness are so much more important than food. i mean, its just FOOD. its only supposed to be there to keep our bodies running! and look what it does to us. it destroys our bodies and our minds. its not worth it. you are SO MUCH more worth it.
one more thing: if you are bulimic and you want to stop but you are having trouble. you can go to counselors and stuff, i kno it helps some people. BUT. whoever says you cant do it on your own, you’re wrong. you can do it on your own. my mom told me that one of the reasons she felt she couldnt stop was because counselors didnt help her, and she was always being told that you couldnt do it on your own. but she finally decided that was ********. and it is. you control your mind, and you can stop whenever you want to. i kno that puts the responsibility on you, which isn’t fun to hear. but instead you should look at it as empowering. you can stop if you decide and commit to it. this thing is so beatable. ive seen it done :)

dont start this for anyone who is reading this and trying to figure out how to do this..DONT. i was bulimic/anorexic for 5 years..went from 132 lbs to 76 lbs im 5′4 and let me just tell you it was no fun, its not glamorous puking over a toilet. i would fast for about 8 das and then when i’d finally eat i’d purge it all up. it was a cycle exactl like that for 5 years of my life. it started when i was 17 and im now 22 with OP and i had to have fake teeth put in. i ended up in the hospital due to a heart attack and i was in accoma for a week..i got a feeding tube and stayed in inpatient for 4 months..my hair was falling out, i had a bed sore where my tail bone was..i had chest pains and when i had bulima my cheeks would swell and get puffy and it would hurt to even talk. all this for what ? to be thin? for who? who are we destroying our self and our lives for? im now recovered from bulimia but still havent totall recovered from anorexia..i eat now but not much its ver hard but day by da im getting stronger and so can all of you girls. i developed this being in ballet but when i dropped to 86 lbs i had to take a “leave” ..now that im at 92 again im finally get back into it..i have trouble with my bones so im on all sorts of meds daily..its not a fun thing to be 22 with the bones and heart of a 80 yr old ..thats exactly what the doc told me. and that will be YOU! you can say “oh that will never happen to me” but thats exactly what i used to say but it sucks you in..it becomes an addiction the more weight you lose. you wont be able to keep it up forever it will cath up with you and you will end up getting put on a crazy much more high cal diet than you can imagine.so why even put ourself thru that? enjoy your life now! BE IN CONTROL IN A POSITIVE WAY. who are YOU starving for???? who!? you are beautiful the way you are..god made you in his image. dont suffer to be thin. 3
why are you all saying not to trow up when u even done it urself, if u got the confidence to do it then i think its not that big of a deal to stop. i realy want to lose weight and ive exersized and eat healthy for 8 week and i just lost 5kg…i tried the beyonce diet by drinking and not eating but that realy didnt help. i really want to trow up so badly but evrything id do doesnt work ive done the put my finger in my trow for two days and nothing came out beside spit. please help me how to trow up beside stiking my finger in my troath….thanks
Guys, listen. I know saying stop, or don’t do it doesn’t make them stop doing what their doing. Saying health risks doesn’t make them stop what their doing either. My mom was bulimic and anorexic for 1 or 2 years . She was in the hospital for 6 months when I was 6 or 7. So, my dad had to take care of us for half a year. That’s how serious this can get. Recently, I tried to purge because I tend to do it when I’m upset or cry. But, I relized how serious it can get, & that it won’t solve anything. So, I hope that this makes a little bit of difference to people who do purge and relize the it’s not the way to go. But, I do understand how hard it is to stop.
OMG dude just stick ur index finger nd ur middle finger down ur throat several times nd then squeeze ur stomache ..that will help its not bad for u !!.. i was 160 lbs nd i am 145 lbs in 2 weeks!!,after puking after every dinner. hope it helps a bit that just the way i do it (^_^)
i am starting to puke after ever dinner, but all i can get out is little chunks of food. If tried chugging a bottle of water before throwing up, but as i said, only chunks come out..

coz wit me my problem is that when i try to throw up , since the food has already been break down into pieces , when it goes out its all watery and its already in bits of pieces i dont know if its enuf since its all water with a bit of the foods iate , is there like a sign or a feeling that ill feel once iv reach the point that ive throwd up enuf .
i dont want it to be too much , i want it just enough to not get fat .

all im going to say is if you havent done it please dont start its not good for you! i would know. im currently strugglin with bulimia..yes you loose wieght and that might be why you choose to start but thats not why you keep doing it. you say youll quit after you loose the weight but then the time comes and its always, “5 more pounds and ill quit” or “just one more time and ill be fine”.
but it never ends, its a cycle and its very difficult to break!

I just threw up all the Nilla wafers cookies and then a black something came out, that was my oreo i ate before the wafers. Then a brocolli came out haha, that’s how I know if i threw it all up, the whole meal. Because it was the order i ate: brocoli, oreo, then vanilla wafer cookies
come on y’all, i know you can take care of your problems in a healthier way. please dont do this, cuz your just slowly killing yourselves. my friend was a bulimic, and it caused her to end up 40 pounds *overweight* because she could never purge as much as she binged. c’mon y’all, deal with your problems in a way that isn’t gonna end you up dead, in rehab, or crying next to the toilet every night feeling weak. weak people binge and purge. strong people exercise and eat healthy. please don’t do this to yourself. I lost 5 lbs by using burshk’s little routine (not the purging, the other one). and i felt better about myself because i didn’t let my weak side take over. c’mon guys, please don’t hurt your bodies like this.
I have been bulemic/anorexic for over 3 years. I used to weigh 224 lbs and I am only 5ft 4″. After only 8 months of throwing up/not eating I was down to 117 lbs. I was quite happy at that and didn’t want to get any smaller. So everytime I put a bit of weight on I go straight back to my old ways. By doing what I do, I am able to lose 1-2 lbs a day. I eat a healthy breakfast everyday and I mean everyday. Usually cereal or 2 slices of toast with a boiled egg, something like that. Then I spend the rest of the day drinking lots of water and having cups of tea. Every few days I have a huge craving and I will binge and bring it up. I used to eat practically nothing and I ended up not losing as much. Having a breakfast is the key as it gets the motabolism going and also gives you energy for the day. Plus you will have eaten in the morning so you have all day to work it off. I find it very easy to be sick. I just drink loads of water before hand and eat until I am so full I can’t take anymore. I always drink loads of water after each big mouthful and then stick 2 fingers down throat. I know when everything is up when I taste my own stomache acid. It’s a vile, horribe taste and there is no mistaking it. When I stick my fingers down, I have to tickle the back of my throat to start the gagging reflex or it doesn’t work. There are a few foods not to eat when on a binge and rice is one of them. It takes an age to get everything up and sometimes you just can’t get it all. I wouldn’t advise any method like this for longterm.

If you want to throw up to loose weight you should be put away on a psychiatric ward.. FOR GOOD and never be allowed to see the sun or people ever again and you won’t ever have the pleasure of eating again. You can then watch how your body begins to cannibalize on itself and feel how it is to die because your body ate itself.

Throwing up is easy just drink a sip of water after every bite it makes the food come. Out easier and it doesn’t taste as bad then wet your fingers and push it down your throat I wouldn’t use a toothbrush cause I’ve heard of girls doing that and the tooth brush got stuck down their throat. Also some tips are to drink soda for some reason it. Makes throwing up easier and take smaller bites so. You get fuller faster and thhere isn’t as much to throw up
I feel like i need to throw up my food because all my friends are stick skinny and I’m 5′3 and 138 lbs ,while they are 5′0 - 5′4 100 to 110 lbs .I just want to be at least 110 . Ive tried running but I didn’t loose anything , I have tried eating no snack foods to only eating 100 calorie bags of cheese nips at lunch but nothing works Ive also tried exercising . My best friend is a year younger than me but she is so skinny , only 95 lbs and all these girls who are ‘’popular'’ and are all skinny , no thick or fat girls , ask her to hang out and be friends , I feel like I might loose her to them cause I am fat and not as popular . I know it isn’t healthy and it can harm my body and kill me one day but I think it is my only choose . I need help . I cry all the time because of my body image . I don’t even want to try anymore .

Do NOT try making yourself throw up. I’m a recovering bulimic and I can tell you from seven years in my eating disorder that it is not a road you want to go down. I was like you (in this sense), I just wanted to lose a bit of weight when all else failed. After doing it once, I thought a miracle had struck: I could eat more than ever, and be skinnier than ever!
Great…instant gratification in my case. Sure, I lost weight…I was skinny. However, not long after words I was rushed to the hospital, my electrolytes were messed up (low potassium causing heart palpitations and chest pains), I was underweight (from restriction more down the road…) and I needed help…my body was shutting down. I went into treatment for a few months and I can’t say I’m on the other side now but I can most certainly say that once you start controlling your weight through throwing up, it’s extremely hard to stop because it seems so easy. Especially at first.
Please, if you’ve started, please reconsider. Eating disorders are the highest in mortality rates out of all the psychiatric disorders, and I really hate the thought of another one of us developing. You may think you’re “just throwing up”, but you’re about to face many psychological issues that accompany “just throwing up”, it’s not worth the emotional pain that will come later for you and your family. So please, if you’ve started, stop now before it’s too late.
Just saying, this is becoming a story about bulimics. I was browsing around the throw up section of the internet to find out how to throw up. I reaaaaaaly need to throw up because… err, please don’t think this is bad, but I need to trick my mom so I don’t have to go to school. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t hate school, but I DO hate the afterschool activities, (I wonder why those are called afterschool activities and not hell and also, there is this guy who is loves me during one of my “activities”, and it’s kind of freaking me out,) and I hate my teacher. I just need a break for one day, and even having a fever doesn’t fool my mom (Yes, I have faked sick many times, to come to no success.) Also, I think it will come in handy in the future, such as when the track meet comes up or I have to run the mile run. I know, I am probably crazy to want to throw up, but a kid in my school has done it, so… just figured, why not?
So anyways, I have tried the finger-down-the-throat method before many times before I even saw this, but it never works.
It makes me feel like I need to throw up, but it never really makes me. If there is a mixture that is easier to get than mustard, please tell me. Understand that I am still a kid, I live with my family, my mother is a devil, so I can’t get my hands on soda because my mother banned it from the household when I was still a first grader. Also, my family hates mustard (no offense to people who like it) so there is none of that in my house. And also, I will have to sneak down into the kitchen in the middle of the night to make this mixture. And also… you get it, don’t you?
Mostly, I want to know if there is a additional something to putting a finger, toothbrush, etc into your throat.

Yea so im 18 and i weigh 139 pounds and im 5′3 I had a baby and gained a whole bunch of weight went up to 151 pounds i started dieting then not eating and now puking up everything i eat and excersing now im 139 and still not happy with my body i want to weigh 129 pounds. I excersise every day and eat one snack that i dont puke up and the other meals i eat i puke out its pretty easy for me to puke and i think im seeing some improvement. When i get to my ideal weight ima stop puking and be on diets and excersise. ive done this in the past and was easy for me to stop puking.
are you guys even serious? i was looking up ways to puke because i’ve had a horrible stomachache for the past three nights. you’re all doing it so you can lose a few pounds. it’s ridiculous. sure society has made us believe that if we can’t see our ribs through our clothes, that we are overweight and ugly. no. nobody is ever going to be happy with the way they look. i’m not, but i’m not going to starve myself, and make myself uncomfortable and unhappy just to be a size zero. this is unnatural, and not at all how we should keep down the pounds. even if you where to do this, and then stop, the next meal you would eat, the weight will come back on double. don’t starve yourself or make yourself vomit. healthy diet and exercise. go to a gym, walk around a park, weight watchers, jenny craig, anything other then starving and hurting yourself.
If you are so desperate to know. Read this:
2.Gulp down a glass of water(Warm, hot, cold, whatever. Not salt,)
3.Sit over or squat over the toilet so that your knees are level with the toilet lid.
4. Stick three fingers down your throat and tickle as far back as you very can. 5. Wiggle your fingers, gag after gag as fast as you can. When your eyes and nose are streaming tears and snot and you want to take your fingers out and try again. Gag once more, a nice big gag and it will come up. Salt water is arunteed NOT TO WORK

1. You vomit as soon as possible after eating
2. Before vomiting, gulp down a glass of water,fast as poss
3. Tickle the VERY back of your throat, the vomiting process is a lot faster that way

I have made the conscience decision to start throwing up after everything I eat. This is my second day. The throwing up does make me a little sore. But of course I rush my teeth right after I puke to ensure that I get all the acid off. I hate puking. It’s disgusting but I just want to do it until I lose 30 lbs. I want to say its not addicting. But these pass 3 days puking is all I thinks about. I eat, then I get to the bathroom as soon as possible. I am choosing to continue, I just hope i will be able to stop

To whoever reads all of this… puking to lose weight is unhealthy because your body needs the food. If anything you should only puke up your cheat meals of your diet or maybe after one meal a day… don’t puke it all up because you’ll gain it back. Find a meal plan and stick to it.. only puke if you’re gone off the deep end and know the extra calories from bad fat and sugar will hurt you. Don’t puke up high protein meals etc… just the sweets and the bad food. Learn about nutrition before you dive headfirst into puking
I came across this post NOT looking for bulimic advice but wanting to know how to induce vomiting for medical reasons like an upset stomach. I know ipecac can work but this only happens occasionally where I eat something that doesn’t agree with me and I stick my finger down my throat and nothing happens. Let me assure you I am a singer and the last thing I want is stomach acid eroding my vocal chords, I am just talking about when you just want relief from overeating or eating something that didn’t agree with you. Hey guys, i guess you could say i am fairly new to this unhealthy behavior. it has been about 4monthsto since ive started purging my food, and at first it started out because when i purged it made me feel powerful and that feeling was something i had been seeking in my life due to lack of power i felt in my home life. nut the last two weeks i havr been starving myself and i have eaten a few times because when im around people i havr to, well this wholr past week i stayed out with friends and i have been purging up to 12you times a day!!!!
No its not healthy whay so ever, my throat burns all the time, my knuckles bleed from hitting my teeth, my teeth are like three shades yellower than they were, my voice cracks and i cant carry a note when i sing, im depressed and always think about what or when i will eat or purge, my body is sore all the time which has caused me to abuse pain killers and that has resulted in drug dependance, im always shaky, weak and light headed, my vision os blurry 50% of the time, i smoke to avoid hunger, i cut myself if i eat because i feel so disgusting and ashamed, and the worst part is the feeling of loneliness because i have withdrawn myself from anyone and everyone who cares about me so i can avoid them talking about my problems.
Now here is the part where i need some help, i started at my heaviest weight which was 232lbs (pounds) but i still weigh that much!!! here is my dilemma: does that mean i dont have a problem, doea that mean that what ive been doing isnt affecting my body or hurting me?
I need to know if thia behavior is bad for me because im not loosing weight, but ive had several irregular heartbeats as well as chest pain and thay honestly scares the **** out of ne…. i also cant even leave my house anymore because i feel like if i were to collapse then nobody would know where to find me or that anything was even wrong with me to begin with.
The only reason i ask all thia on here is because i literally have nowhere else to turn because of the fact that i am embarrassed to admit that thia could be a problem, since i am overweight, i am obese so i want to know if my body is neing harmed since i have so mich fat on me. i would feel lile a joke if i ever walked into a eating disorder clinic being my weight when there are like 80i poind emaciated girls everywhere i look… its embarrassing because im overweight.

Of course you’re harming your body! Stop throwing up right now, even if you’re at the same weight, it doesn’t mean you haven’t been damaging your body. You’ve probably messed up your metabolism and put too much strain on your organs from all the pressure of gagging and throwing up. What you need to do is go see a doctor or nurse, tell him/her what you’ve been doing, it’ll be confidential. They’ll do everything they can to help you. Just stop what you’re doing, you could end up killing yourself and have probably already caused irreparable damage. Get some help.

i’m so glad i came across this post!! i was just trying to use a toothbrush to do it and all i did was gag, gag, gag… i felt sick enough to throw up, but i just couldnt get it to come up. guess i can go try it again now.
and to all those who say ‘oh no! why would you want to do that to yourself?”, just no that it is a personal decisoin and just because some people are extreme, it doesnt mean that i or any one else looking at this question are going to be extreme

throwing up on purpose can cause cancer to the esofices which is the one of the worse cancers to get usully when docters see it its to late i used to throw up too until a family got cancer

When you feel nauseated just rub canola oil or lavader lotion on your body
Or…on a peppermint
or (if that doesn`t work)
1.] find a flat clear spot on the floor.
2.] lay a blanket down.
3.] get a pillow *if you have neck problems*.
4.] lay on your stomachfor about an hour or so.
Umm for those of you who dont actually do research on what you are doing you can actually tear your throat and die from making yourself throw up… Just so you know.
