Did you mean to reference the point that since Spanish is directly formed from Old Latin, that Spanish speakers can pinpoint in precise summary exactly what they mean?

In the adverse to English (referencing American English) whose origins are not of direct Old Latin decent, thus making it harder to distinguish in understandable means what point the speaker was making or the intent in which they spoke?
