What’s Fun to do in Boston?

Me and a buddy are driving down for the weekend, and are looking for cool things to do. Any suggestions?

mm there is the most delicious Italian restaurant… I don’t know where it is, but the marinara sauce is like crack and there are hot Italian boys. It’s on some obscure street in the Italian restaurant part of Boston and there’s never any parking around there, but the menu is outside the door, there are benches all around it, and there is a fork, knife, and spoon outside the door. It’s pretty small, but if you somehow find it (ha!), go there, it is AMAZING.
wow. that was great advice. lol.
but other than that… I’m partial to the Orpheum Theatre, Boston Common is great for randomly finding $500 (though this may be a once in a lifetime opportunity) and the police station is not a great place to be for over two hours at a time.
Wow, I give such good advice… I’m, ah, basing it off experience. If you’re into history and stuff, then The Freedom Trail would be worth a visit. There are a few good museums that it wouldn’t hurt you to check out, either. The city has some of the worst road systems and traffic ever, though, so watch out, especially if you’re in an area with a lot of one way streets.
That’s all I got. Have fun! :D
(yes, it’s okay to take none of my advice. :P)

freedom trail, fanueil hall, quincy market, boston common, umm, that little italy place they have there…Boston is SOOOO much fun!!! you’ll have a great time wherever you go! also harvard and MIT have really pretty campuses, actually all of Cambridge is really pretty, so definitely go there. you may not be into the whole touristy thing, but the tour trolley is really fun, especially when its cold out!! freedom trail is AMAZING, you should definitely see that, except its like all walking, so if the weather permits…
btw, the roads are CRAZY!! they’re not on a grid and its really easy to get lost. but the subways are insanely fun, if mass transit is your thing :-)

Boston is a great city. When I travel back east to visit family Boston is a favorite stop. I would also highly reccommend some of the above!

If you are interested in old ships this is a good museum…

As nutty as it seems I would even visit the old graveyards with friend, carrying a crayon and some paper, and do some stone rubbings. Some of the stones have some interesting old designs some that date back to colonial times…

LOL Mittens and skye.tindol - my father is always complaining about the road system in Boston. He doesn’t even like coming to pick me up from the airport when I come visit!
