I’m after a program that allows me to use my laptop as a hands free phone.

Nothing fancy!! I only have dial-up, and when I’m not online I want to be able to answer incoming calls on my laptop. Any ideas?

Well, I haven’t personally used anything like that. However, I plan to and this is my plan:
(I already have my computer set up so that it can be on with the lid closed)
I plan to connect one of those hands free phone things.

After that- I assume I’ll probably have to open my laptop to answer and nothing else. (which isn’t too bad)

Is this what you were looking for. If this is what you are looking for- then any program (like skype, or simmilar) should work.

Thanks for the ideas, but no, unfortunately not what I’m looking for. I want to answer calls coming to my house when I’m not online - just have my laptop running and the modem recognising the incoming call and letting me know, then answering the call hands free through my laptops speakers and mic. Nothing over the internet.
