My husbands’s dad just died and I dont even know what to say to him, when my dad dies, my life wont be the same, he has stuck up for me so many times and come running so many times when I needed it, I dont know how I am gonna cope. I think even the dads that are not in their children’s lives, will regret it big time one day, most probably when they are old and no one cares about them. Oh and Richard, your daughters are so lucky to have a dad like you and they are happy too, you can see it in their smiles in that photo, but do you know especially where that happiness is evident? in YOUR smile

My dad and i have never really known what its like to have a relationship. I connet with him on one level. Sports. and if our team loses, he doesnt want to talk about anything anymore. So to see a man like you be so caring and loving shows that there is good in the world. And thank you for showing me that, you have been blessed with beautiful children, and a beautiful heart

We have been dealt a handful of untruths, over the years.

People speaking negative things into our lives.

Then we allowed them to become a reality.

A self fullfilling prophecy, if you will.

We have to rise up to the task, of defeating everything that exalts itself above the Christ that is within us.

I say this, with the belief that you are a believer.

I made a post one time, of things that the spirit wants us to dwell on.

Ive had to find my self a few times before and start loving myself again. I used self affirmation thou. I’d stand in front of a mirror and pick things about myself that I like - and also wot I did during the day that I was proud of. Pick 10+ things - it may be hard to start but eventually as the love grows it will be easy - trust me :D

I’m sorry but I am not christian… do you mind editing your next post once you have found it, so it is a little more “general.”

There is a point behind your question Silverwings and I agree with that point!

Ditzy self affirmations can be a great way to help yourself, even with Christ as my guide I have used self affirmations to help myself through a very rough period.

Dizzy, you don’t have to be a Christian to accept valuable information and being a strong believer in Christ, I’m not sure it’s possible for Silverwings to edit Christ out.

Why does ‘this person’ find you creepy ? Because he envies you. For all the lady attention you get!

Why do you get this attention from us women? Because i don’t think i/we have ever respected someone as much as you.

You are a pure gentleman. Your admiration for women, and they way you try to understand our crazyness! Should be celebrated and congratulated.

This person blatently craves the life you lead so well. And wishes he could get the admiration you have achieved from us, without harassing women.

I know you already know this, but some people in life find the only way they can come to terms with their jealousy, is by mocking or insulting someone they feel is better than them.

But people like that never earn respect that way. And until they learn to do so, i can guess they will remain anonymous.
