I’m 20, going to school for massage therapy in bc.

The tuition costs are $30,000. I go to school more than full time. My parents dont have money, so they’re not able to help me. They’ve cosigned for a line of credit, but that is almost gone. I’ve only got enough money for this coming month of living costs, and the rest of tuition. I can’t find anyone to cosign for another line of credit, and i would have to work 30 hours a week just to make the money i need to pay my bills. With the way my program is, i can’t possibly work and go to school and have time for the studying i need to do. I’m already struggling with this semester, how am i supposed to do it AND work? What do I do? I was denied for student loans from the government because of my mom’s husbands income. I don’t know what else to do.

Help me!

Sincerely
Broke

If your mom’s husband is not your legal father. I do not think you need to use his income. I know my niece only used her mothers income and child support from her birth father. Your step father is not legally responsible supporting you. So check with someone in the financial aid department of your school to see if this is correct. It may make you eligible for a pell grant or something.
