Comic book of my life.

This is about a comic book I write about my everyday life. It is basically a diary in comic book form. I thought that as an artist, I would have more fun with this than an actual diary. Drawing is my way of expressing myself, so good idea right? Wrong. Some people just skip over the word Diary adn keep out because they thnk its just another own of my sketch books, and certain people I won’t mension have been reading my comic diary. I had some really personal stuff in ther ethat no one needs to know about adn now I’m afraid it has gotten out to the world. The last person I want to have find out is my mom. What should I do?

its way WAY TOO LATE for that. dont ever publish your very personal thoughts in the form of a diary, if its mostly harmless info like “i like stan”, and “puppies are cool” youl be fine. the best way to do is just wait it out, if some creep has read it and is harrassing you, just cut of contact, and slap him/her in the face. just wait it out, it will circulate and die down. with luck, youl be OK, there isnt much u can do

I have a diary, not a comic diary but a diary none the less. I am sure people have read it when I was not around, they had a peek into the sick, twisted, disturbing pit that is my mind. They didn’t say anything, maybe it was because of my disclaimer in the front

“If YOU read THIS book I WILL KILL YOU…NO F**KING JOKE.”

Thats what I wrote on the first page.

And it seemed to work for me.

Tell everyone it was just a story you’re working on. Using the names of people you know in un real situations, some truth some lie?

Truth is better but, if you feel too exposed and need to hide… If it was me I’d brave face it out and growl at people a lot.

I wasn’t stupid enough to use real names but I did use some obvious nicknames. Everyone calls me “mouse” so the main character’s name is Mouse. I might have included some events that most people might find digusting and perverse. I didn’t go into detail with the drawings but I’m afraid people might get the wrong idea.

Let them, tell them you are an artist and this is your outlet, or would they prefer you acted out? Just growl and shout artistic license.

You have the right to express yourself, as icky as it appears in your diary, it’s still your expressive work of fiction.

People say all the time, I’m going to get killed if they find out… Still here! ;o)

All you did was make it more graphic.

Bravery is the most important attribute of a good writer. Write the truth and own the consequences. Anything less will be washed out and compromised.

If they went in your diary without your permission than they don’t have any floor to stand on when it comes to judging you about it. I would laugh about and if they make a deal out of it I think you know what to do…tell them to f*** themselves.

I think a comic diary is really cool, just because it isn’t a common thing doesn’t mean you should be ashamed. And if there are some twisted things you relish on the paper you should not be ashamed of that either. I think what you did is cool and if other people violate your property (physical or mental) you should tell them to go f*** themselves.

next time hide it, and don’t carry it around everywhere.
or invest in some hot-glue and a little lock pad.
or make a more durable diary that can handle a lock
here’s some directions to one I was thinking of making for myself :)

Hey, that’s fine. Perhaps, ironically, the mistake you made was to write “DIARY KEEP OUT” ?

1) Great idea by Twizzle. You’re an artist and this book is your creative outlet. You’re thinking of creating a comic and these are your doodles and sketches based on ideas that you’ve had. Who could argue with that?
2) Reading the word DIARY probably tempted some people to go in! Oh well, that’s life, I suppose…nobody can be trusted!

Best of luck,
Farah :)

i like the idea of a comic book journal. if people ask you questions just tell them that its part of the story, this has a double meaning, so you can be telling the truth but also clearing things up depending on how people take it, good luck and let me know how it turns out.
