LIFE is hard.

And its really easy to say to a person thinking about ending theirs to “love themselves” and “look forward to 2morrow”. But I would like those kind of help people to consider that the only thing that keeps these people going is looking forward to 2morrow so please try tokeep that in mind. If they really wanted to die they would do it. I have read a lot of those post and they are VERY scary but those are the things that these people care about that makes them consider ending thier life. And its really easy to tell someone to not care about the things that make them feel sucidal but how east is it to do? If it was that easy everybody would be happy, no one would ever have a point to prove, there would never be any wars etc. Im just saying sometimes you need to be shown and not told, it makes a difference.

I think it is very hard. The best we can do is let these people know how we overcame that suicidal state of mind. Support them any way we can.

Or we can refer them to your lovely poem babacup. I dont have the strenght to tell these people that everthing will be ok and to have hope , faith and to pray. Because if that doesnt make them feel better then they might hate me, or hate GOD or hate people( thats my problem) but I could tell them to do some soul searching. I love myself so I should love others but its not that easy. But when I have the answers I will surely post them. Gosh I loved that poem its going to motivate me everyday!

I am so happy you do. It is a prayer I do with my children every night. I want them to grow up always knowing how wonderful they are. Always knowing that they have that higher power within them that can see them through.

Yeap. Telling them not to do it, that instead they should just love life for what it is, isn’t enough. They need to see what they can lose. Realize it and work on it.
At times though…there really isn’t anything to lose.

I grew up with a mother who tried to kill herself, twice. I think that in the end suicide is the most selfish thing one can do. You may be ending your pain, but what about the one’s you leave behind?
