well i can relate, my dad left my mom when i was still an infant… turns out he had kids before and after me and left them, so i know i have at least an older brother and an older sister i have never met, it is also possible that i have multiple younger siblings. the truth is though, i don’t feel attached to any of them because i have never met them. Just like I have no feelings for my father because i have never met him.

The fact of the matter is you can’t love/miss something you have never experienced. You can only wonder what it would have been like and maybe wish that you could have experienced this.
about finding him, ask your parents? they have to know something

oh and about your fight, just tell your friend this is how you view things and there is nothing he can say or do to change you view just as there is nothing you can say or do to change is view. If he is areal friend he will respect your beliefs as long as you do the same

Making family connection brings such joy. I found out last summer that I have twin brothers, I am the oldist lol. I have not met them but I am looking forward to the meeting. I have had very little relationship with my dad so I am hoping that I will be able to connect with my brothers.
I hope you are doing all you can to find your brother, he is probably in need of a sister (I hope I got the gender correct).
I am more moved though that you believe that there is no God. I think that is the saddness of your post.
As you are now seeking to find your brother, hoping that finding him will help U to put things in place about who you are and feel the love for your own blood, seeking and finding God as will bring a better understanding of self and life.
If you think you know yourself now without God, you are grealty mistaken. The emptyness sadness and such emotion that you feel with the abscent of family can not compare.
Will u do a post on Atheism? I might learn something from it.

Don’t feel so strongly towards your ex. At some time in his life he may have experianced something that changed his life and he just wanted to share it with you.
